I'm bored. So I thought I'd post this fan video again because I love it! I wish they'd make more.

I just wanted to say that I have had no problem with any of the Chinese sourced videos. They load fine, play fine, and I do not get warnings. Of course, based on recent world news headlines, Chinese hackers may be stalking my laptop but since it is full of Adam stuff the probable outcome would be that they become crazed stans and well anything could happen .... www.youtube.com/watch?v=IJYC-_9gaRo

Also, I wanted to thank everyone who commented on my post yesterday re Adam's new tattoo and to say that unfortunately, I'm still bluesy about it. The reason I didn't reply to anyone was because I did not want to rain on anyone's parade, not because I was ignoring them:) xxx I did write a long ass essay about it today at work ( during the breaks! lol), three pages on the back of some old grammar tests for the kids, currently crumpled in the pocket of my jacket... i'll post it on my tumblr later, not here though, no worries:) I will look forward to reading it. I have been blue lately too. Hugs to you. Hugs back! aleksandrakv.tumblr.com/

Best sellers list on Amazon.cn : Adam is #20, with only one non-local seller (Adele) ahead of him. The person with top 10 (!!!!) and 14 overall in top 20 best selling albums is Yundi Li - a classical pianist of international acclaim. (He happens to be the same age as Adam). - I don't know what this means: either Chinese public loves classical music (may be I should move there???) OR the sales of CDs are so very low that even a classical performer outsells pop artists. The numbers thread had been tracking Trespassing's (as well as FYE & GNL) chart positions on Amazon China ever since the beginning of Feb when TSP went up there for pre-sale, here is the link to the first post: adamtopia.com/post/366630 TSP had been #1 on both Amazon China Best Sellers list and 京东's Best Seller (another major web shopping site in China) since, till the day after Chinese New Year, then it went down to #12 on Amazon and #2 on 京东 (I think butterknife has explained the cause in her post). However, TSP has been pretty much staying within top 20 on Amazon, and within top 100 for FYE & GNL. Just like in the US, the Amazon shoppers in China, in general, are a different demographic than the iTunes buyers, although iTunes does not sell music in China yet, only apps so far. The pop music consumers (in China, that pretty much means teens & young adults) tend to prefer digital purchase (or illegal downloading) and online streaming, and there're no shortage of such sites in China. One thing I did notice on Amazon China as well as other major China music sites is, there're surprisingly ('cuz you just don't see it here) a number of classic music in the top lists, Chinese classics as well as western (Beethoven and Mendelssohn, etc.). Regarding music sales in China, here are the numbers needed to be certified Gold & Platinum (album), which should give you some idea: GOLD: 20,000 (domestic); 10,000 (int'l) PLATINUM: 40,000 (domestic); 20,000 (int'l)

I loved what you wrote. It did not make me bluer. It made me feel stronger. [clapping smiley]

I am just amazed and so thankful to the Shanghai fans who have brought us such great videos. Just want to say "thank you". Now back to watching!!
My only problem with any of the Chinese websites is there is no good Chinese-English web translation. I am trying hard to learn Simplified Chinese Unicode but there is nothing simple about it. However, I am not surrendering and Adam's amazing Chinese fans are inspiring me to keep trying.
Note: I have learned that Google translate from English to Simplified Chinese may be more laughable than what we see when we translate to English. The cultural references and idioms do not translate very well.
