I need help understanding WHY would an original recording artist include a cover on his/hers album given the unfortunate fact of general lack of respect towards covers?
Would it be due to lack of time to create their own material?
How would such an inclusion benefit the artist or the album?
Is this common practice? (I know about SuBo, Andrea Bocelli - these are different animals altogether)

When Adam came out as being team KellyClarkson I wondered if he had experienced his own friction with Clive Davis. Clive Davis was the CEO of RCA from 2002 to April 2008, succeeded by Barry Weiss (April 2008 to March 2011), and the current CEO of RCA is Peter Edge. So, Clive had nothing to do with Adam's career. I agree. I doubt Clive has anything to do with Adam. When Clive was replaced as the head of RCA in 2008, he was given the title of "Chief Creative Officer" of Sony Music. He has nothing to do with day-to-day management of the company. He does work with selected artists; his main focus right now is Jennifer Hudson, according to a few articles that I have seen. FYI: There was a tweet that she was ok already right after and also in hospital, and it was more a precaution to take her there in the first place. Hope this info is correct since she seems to be a nice girl.

So, Clive had/has nothing to do with Adam's career, he did, however, appraise Adam as one of the shining stars at one of his pre-Grammy's parties (the first one Adam had attended). I wish Barry Weiss was still CEO of RCA.. He seemed to really get Adam .. Just look what he did for Frank Ocean this year.

evergreen, this professional HQ vid (Stay & Underneath from Shanghai), www.yinyuetai.com/video/620656 my friend (the owner of the vid) said the original file was a .mov file, which explained why you couldn't play on your PC with the RealPlayer. MOV file doesn't work well with the RealPlayer, but all you need to do is download QuickTime (compatible with both Mac and Windows operating systems), another good one is VLC, practically plays everything. Let me know if you have any further problems with it.

GUYS. Today, I imagine what it'd be like to work for @adamlambert. Applying to be a full-time GLAMBERT ASAP!http://buzzworthy.mtv.com/2013/03/07/adam-lambert-bathroom-mirror-dancer-terrance-s*&@^#r-photo/ …
Working for Adam Lambert has to be the best job EVAR! And judging by this photo collage Adam snapped alongside his co-worker/dancer/friend Terrance S*&@^#r, "overtime" means taking selfies in the bathroom TOGETHER! Also, we can tell from this pic that Adam's job description includes dominating fashion (like with blue suits) and maintaining flawless smizes with proper eyeliner application at all times. Now, excuse me while we tweak our resume to apply to be a full-time Glambert. (Adam! HIRE US! We will work for FREE.) The "Stay" singer shared his photo on Instagram along with the caption, "Late night shenanigans w @terrances*&@^#r." Adam's been on tour in Asia for the last few weeks, and while he's been out catching the sights, sometimes simply taking bathroom mirror pictures is the best way to unwind after a long day of being consistently epic. That, and bathing in that rock star-looking tub in the background. Wait! Maybe Adam could use an official bath drawer -- we'll SO do it! Kinda weird? Sure. But don't act like it's not your official new dream job, too. Forwarding our resumé right now.
