IMO: there will be no covers on Adam#3, he will still be the EP, he will try and go more mainstream with his music, we will have the album by year end, the content will not be as personal as TP and as such will be less "scary" for the PTB = "less gay",there will be no radio tour, we will have a single by end of August I am probably wrong on all the points My predictions highlighted:
there will be no covers on Adam#3, I believe there will, and they will be good and unexpected from RCA treasure vault and we fans do not have to cry any rivers about them at all. They will be like new songs. And Adam will have lot of say about them and also pick them.
he will still be the EP, Probably not and I am sadz about this, because he would deserve to be. He did mighty good as EP, but he will work with that new EP and will have input. It will work out.
he will try and go more mainstream with his music, Agreed
we will have the album by year end, Could be, or at least early next year
the content will not be as personal as TP and as such will be less "scary" for the PTB = "less gay", It will be personal, and gay will be allowed to be a topic. But it will be less party, drinking, hooking up and therefore go more mature in topics there will be no radio tour, Agreed we will have a single by end of August or rather November And I predict that we will all love, love, love the album and I am not sad but rather totally exited for the new one. But I also do think that Trespassing deserved much better than it got and I do believe that this whole roll-out was totally outside of Adam's control. And yes, I do blame Clive Davis and Co.

The interview posted above is one of my favs. It should be posted whenever anyone gets angsty.
JMHO if Adam wants to have a commercially successful album for #3, he will Adamize this retro movement, get some classics, make them Adamazing. Throw in a few original tracks.
There are hundreds of songs that I want to hear him do....
My only request is NO BIG BAND!! Leave that to JT and Bruno.
Maybe he could just cover Patsy Cline and become a country star!!

I think the new single will come out in October so that it will be eligible for the 2015 Grammys. Plus they will need that long to have enough material to choose from. And I think he will have to use a few more songs written by others to make a November release deadline. Since Adam's singles climb slowly, IMO, an Oct. Single is too late for a Nov. Or Dec album THIS. I'm looking to July/August for a single. Well maybe July is too soon - so August it is! I'm eager to get back to requesting & voting!!! Believe that and I have a bridge to sell you. But I will do it with zest because it's for the most incredible performer on the planet. Who just happens to also be an exemplary human being. In other words - he's perfect.

Just saw this on YouTube -- an excerpt from an interview with Christopher Plummer. The topic is what makes a star, whether an actor, singer, etc. Mr. Plummer has some interesting insights -- most of which apply to Adam I think (including "always be a little bit late"!).
Enjoy:

It is fine to bring news over from MJS or IdolForums or other public forums. DO NOT --- 1. Discuss the policies of other websites here. If you have an issue with what another site is doing, post it on that site or contact that site's administrator. 2. Treat a poster from another site disrespectfully or in any way that violates ATop guidelines. *** MJ included at least one Adam WRG concert in a combined post about several Idol alums in concert. That is good to know. Once I had brought over some information I read on MJs (Adam-related of course) but it was deleted as off-topic. I've been scared to post anything from MJs ever since. It just depends on what it is. The post you brought over today was informative -- a concertgoers report who was at Adam's concert. What the mods and I will delete would be some posting a quote from MJs (or another forum) that is an opinion so that it can be discussed here vs. where it is posted. A post that is not new information but merely an opinion about the news. Hope that makes sense.

When Adam came out as being team KellyClarkson I wondered if he had experienced his own friction with Clive Davis. Clive Davis was the CEO of RCA from 2002 to April 2008, succeeded by Barry Weiss (April 2008 to March 2011), and the current CEO of RCA is Peter Edge. So, Clive had/has nothing to do with Adam's career, he did, however, appraise Adam as one of the shining stars at one of his pre-Grammy's parties (the first one Adam had attended).
