This is the first year since season 5 I am not watching AI. Listening to these videos makes me feel happy with my decision. It is of course all Adam's fault. Once you have heard the best singer, why settle for less? EDIT: Listening to the girls now, much better. But we all know a girl is not going to win this ever again, right?  I watched AI 2 to AI 8, can't stand one minute of it since then. I can't even understand how I could watch it before... that's the extend of "Adam killed AI" for me... as far as a "girl winning" possibility... I was reading somewhere here that all or most of the boys that are left are "gay" ... IF that's the case then IMO it is a round about way for the AI to insure a girl winning... (No need to pile up on me...just my rather cynical opinion). HAPPY ATOP IS BACK!!!! I think it was s*&@^#r who said that this year the producers are DETERMINED that a girl win. To the extent that they did not put thru a single WGWG. Looking at the line up of guys this season, a majority aren't even WG. No cute little boy next door in sight. Which means no fantasy boyfriend for the teens to vote for. What will they do now? Oops, this is OT. But, Adam did comment on his reactions to the line up, right? |

Aleksandrakv, thats exactly how I feel about Adams whole being. He is a perfect combination of beauty and sex appeal. That is how I feel too Aleks. There was a ridiculously stunning pic of him yesterday with a beautiful fan. Even though she's really pretty, she seemed more ordinary next to him. For me there's just something about him that makes him stand out as the most beautiful person in any pic. |

Who, besides Adam, could look this hot in those stupid amusement park 3D glasses?! Gah!! That's because he sings in 3D, right:) J/k. He is so ridiculously beautiful, that he must have developed insanely high standards just by looking at his mirror. I've never seen before such perfect facial features in a man: each viewed individually is stunningly beautiful, his eyes, nose, eyebrows, lashes, lips, all the lines... and combined together, they make for a breathtaking result. For example, if you think about hot men in general, Ian Somerhalder, or Chace Crawford, they really are hot as hell, but you cannot say that all their features are perfection. Adam's face is a sculptor's wet dream:) Also, I adore the absence of a six-pack, ripped out, hunky uniformity of his body; his limbs are also beautiful, both in their form and movement, slender, long and subtle... They sing with his voice on stage:))) Gosh, I feel exactly the same way. I've never seen someone who had some many perfect features. Add to the list his cheekbones, hair, his ears, his neck (some guys have giraffe necks like Bill Kaulitz). I also love his body - his height, broad straight shoulders, nice chest, nice long legs, nice butt, and huge GB. I think the only body part I am totally not in love with is his feet. That is why it infuriates me when people say he is ugly. I remember comments by gay guys on articles saying they thought he was ugly and they thought NAL was much hotter. Guess when I put men on a pedestal for looks, they are usually tall and look like a model. And his smile is to die for. Add to this list his other worldly talent, his intelligence, his character, I find Adam the closest thing to being a perfect man. Actually a perfect human being. |

Logistical question -- how on earth do you pack for the tropics and the antartic? Those temps in Belarus are unbelievable! I guess they have trunks of clothes that travel with the equipment? Do you think their show clothes are packed with the equipment and they change at the venue and then their everyday clothes are packed in their luggage? I'd never be able to do it! I wonder how they get all those clothes cleaned between each show? Does one of the crew take them to a local laundry / dry cleaners or do they just wear stinky costumes? Well, Ashley's would be no problem, she can just wash her stuff in the sink and let it dry overnight. The nice thing about being small and wearing skimpy clothes is that it is very light packing. |

I mean, I get it from a stan POV, but I wouldn't want to be the object ... or his lover or his family ... ETA: We all know Adam can be unatractive at times. I hope he feels he can be so whenever he wants/needs regardless of our opinions of him. ETA 2: I fell like I need to apoligize for my post ... hrmpf ... I'll try to explan further: Adam makes us feel like he is as you describe (that is one of his big appeals and talents) ... but he is not, and I think it is a big burden/expectation to put upon a person. But he is. Aleks is talking about things like the symmetry and shape of his features. They really are perfection. It has nothing to do with Adam having bad days or not. His features remain the same. |

And wanting him to be comfortable with it.

Tis true! Idol is trying their darndest to have a girl winner. No WGWGs and only one that I would say is somewhat cute but the worst of the guys vocally. The girls are fabulous! I think this week will tell a lot about if their plan will work. If a guy is the first elimination, they might have come up with the right plan.
