I feel sorry for them. In Finland we are having really could time now, -8 C below long time average. Next night can be as could as -27 C :(. And those who will come to concert, please check the weather forecast, and dress accordingly!  I'm a Mediterranean girl, okay? I'm ALWAYS cold, even in summer. I'm gonna die!!!!!!   I have a question, though. What about footwear? What do you usually wear with the snow and ice and all that? |

Because I don't watch I shouldn't comment on the contestants, but since I did see the posted videos I will. I don't know what he's seeing/hearing in the boys, Neither one is anywhere near him vocally and not even as good as many previous Idol contestants. Burnell does have a really good voice though. The girls are better but I would rate them 1) Kree (really GOOD) 2) Candice & 3) Angie (she sounded strained in that performance). Do I have to say this is my opinion only? He's such a pussy cat and doesn't have a jealous bone in his body. He really wants success for all these young performers. And he knows how tough it is out there. So I may not agree with him but I love him for being who he is. Were we talking about his looks? I seem to recall that. :D He is the best looking, sexiest man I have ever seen. No one else comes close. Period. ETA - I wonder why Glambert Pianist deleted her videos. I just checked and her TfM is still there. |

4Msrmyn thanks for the zip download info and I think Dancy has PM'd me something before. I'm always hesitant about downloading things to my computer. And I know Atops have mentioned Youtube mp3 sites that convert without having to download something but it said I had to download Javelin Java Applet to be able to convert videos to mp3's. I didnt know if that was safe to do or if it would mess up anything in my computer? And how do I get it to iTunes so I can make a CD if I did use it? I am tech challenged as you can see. lol I found this tweet on the Jakarta twitter link and found this site they posted interesting. IMO Carrie and Adam has been the two most consistent supporters of Idol. Some of the other Idol alums seem to come and go.
I have tried to watch this season and even made it through the first hour of this week's Top 10 Show but bailed. Many of the contestants are only modest singers. These are three who are pretty good vocalists but no one has "it".
The only thing I liked about the show was Ryan. The judges go from bad to worst. And this year's contestants are kind of boring.
I know that Adam is an Idol fan but I think "goosebumps" is a bit strong.

That's because he sings in 3D, right:) J/k. He is so ridiculously beautiful, that he must have developed insanely high standards just by looking at his mirror. I've never seen before such perfect facial features in a man: each viewed individually is stunningly beautiful, his eyes, nose, eyebrows, lashes, lips, all the lines... and combined together, they make for a breathtaking result. For example, if you think about hot men in general, Ian Somerhalder, or Chace Crawford, they really are hot as hell, but you cannot say that all their features are perfection. Adam's face is a sculptor's wet dream:) Also, I adore the absence of a six-pack, ripped out, hunky uniformity of his body; his limbs are also beautiful, both in their form and movement, slender, long and subtle... They sing with his voice on stage:))) I hope Adam never reads something like this about himself .... poor guy ... imagine to try living up to it ??? I mean, I get it from a stan POV, but I wouldn't want to be the object ... or his lover or his family ... ETA: We all know Adam can be unatractive at times. I hope he feels he can be so whenever he wants/needs regardless of our opinions of him. ETA 2: I fell like I need to apoligize for my post ... hrmpf ... I'll try to explan further: Adam makes us feel like he is as you describe (that is one of his big appeals and talents) ... but he is not, and I think it is a big burden/expectation to put upon a person. ~You don't have to apologize for your post  ~I do know Adam can be unattractive at times. It's just that it doesn't make him any less perfect. Plus, those times are freakishly rare:))) I tend not to focus on imperfections, especially when I admire someone; I just don't see the point... it doesn't mean I'm unaware:) To put it more bluntly: I'd kiss him first thing in the morning, dragon breath, eye crust and all and think it was perfection:))) ~As far as Adam goes, I'm sure he'd be the first to disagree with my post. He is adorably insecure and lacks the shameless confidence which only the mediocre self-delusionally possess. But, I can't see why he wouldn't enjoy reading it! It's all true, you know:))) ~I agree, it's not easy to be Adam's lover. Luckily, Sauli is hot as hell himself:) xoxoxo |

I have been trying to clean up my favorites/bookmarks list and found a site I would like to share. Many here are familiar with it, but for newer fans it is a treasure trove. littleglitterlittleglam.blogspot.com/This blog, by Spindleshay, who has posted here, has a lot of Adam stuff, going back to AI, but also many other things that interest her. (She says she doesn't review - she shares.) BTW the Classixx video by Lynne's son is on the front page. So instead of cleaning things up to save time, I fell in... I have crawled back out to say when the WAG tour ends and you are looking for another rabbit hole, this is a good one. |
