Can I just say how much I love Adam's version of Shout Me too! The Singapore one fantastic to watch and audio is great! I wonder why this cover didn't receive the attention Is This Love got.. Is This Love is Bob Marley. That's probably why. |

Kind of off topic, sort of, maybe: I bought Kelly's greatest hits a few days ago. Great album! There are a few new songs on it, one is her current single, "Catch My Breath" and the other is "People Like Us." I am a big Kelly fan but a bit butthurt that RCA didn't give "People Like Us" to Adam. It would have made a great interim single, either between albums or even if it was saved for #3. If you guys have a chance, listen on i-Tunes & see if you agree with me. I agree with you! The lyrics would have fit Adam better, and it would have been perfect as an interim single! Damn RCA. |

To all shy AToppers going to the show in Helsinki...... GO FOR IT! I can't believe I was so timid back in 2010, when I was just dipping my toe into Adam fandom. I almost didn't go see him when he came to Atlanta. I thought I wouldn't fit in with the crowd, being twice the age of the audience I thought would be attending. Plus, I didn't have anyone to go with.... no other Adam fans among my friends. AToppers here encouraged me, emboldened me, even found me a ticket to the sold out show. Then, they made arrangements to meet for dinner before the concert. Then, dear, sweet mayumi, the hostess with the mostest, invited us all to her house in the afternoon to share the excitement and get our glitter on. Inwardly quaking in my boots, I accepted the invites and went out into the world to meet fellow lovers of AFL. One of the best decisions of my life. Two and a half years later here I am, totally down the rabbit hole with so many wonderful friends. So, figure out a way to meet up with AToppers and have the best time of your life! That is where I met you for the first time Cassie - So very glad you joined us and I got to know you! Hi! Just to say....I'm going to Helsinki....just printed out my ticket.... |

I didn't know much about Tears for Fears, but are they not as popular or well known? I really love Adam's version of this song though. |

Actually, I don't think that KC song would be a great idea....it would seem too specific for Adam....it is a 'been there, done that' kind of song at best and we know where that message went, and what it did for him. He does not need more of that.
And add to that, for me....it almost sounds 'victim-y' and that is the last thing Adam likes....sorry...glad it is KC singing it and not Adam.

I checked to see if Adam and Kelly have the same A&R person. They don't! What is A&R? They help the artist find songs, producers, line up writers the artist might want to work with. Stuff like that.  |
