So happy we get to see Adam this summer in So Cal! Hope he does some concerts in other areas so other folks get to see him, too! On another note, I just found out that Phillip Phillips is going to be performing at the "Rock in Rio" festival in September: Rock in Rio line-up
Isn't that the event that we all voted on several months ago? I wonder how an artist gets to perform there. I guess Phillip's management is making a big push for him internationally. Good luck to Phillip, but I wish Adam could have been there ... lots of amazing artists (Beyonce, Springsteen, Bon Jovi, etc.). Queen + Adam would have been nice, too. I wonder if Rio is big into the Country scene? Maybe? PP would be the last singer I would expect in Wild ,fun loving, glamorous Rio.. Geez what are they thinking?? Hope Adam is asked..I voted my fingers off.DRATS

But who knows ... not all of the acts have been announced yet.

Queen + Adam would have been nice, too. *************************************************************************** Rock 'n Rio is a HUGE festival and as much as it sounds good to have Adam sing there, long time ago when Billy Idol performed, LOOOOOONNNNNNGGGGGG time ago, there were 350,000 people, similar to the scene at Kiev. Jumbo-tron time. Another thought that I feel strongly about, always have, what other people do/get, whether Idols or not, has nothing to do with Adam. He is who he is, he performs where he performs, and the fact that P2 is doing something should not even enter into any conversation about Adam. It's a useless, senseless conversation and the angst or hostility it causes is not worth it. Remember, Karma, people. By the way, trying to make arrangements to go to San Diego and hope it all works out. Miami is (lots) closer and friends going, but the logistics for me physically just don't work out. My best friend and his partner who live in Fort Lauderdale are going in my stead and promised they will act every bit as embarrassingly as I would have.

Still can't get posts right. How do you separate? Whoops, screwed up and didn't scroll whole way down to end of last post.

But who knows ... not all of the acts have been announced yet. ETA: I assumed the first post was classifying P2 as a country artist. P2 is not a country artist. His big hit "Home" was #6 on the Hot 100, #1 on the US AC and Adult Pop charts, #2 on the Rock chart and #8 on the Pop chart. It has sold over 4 million units in the US. But it did not break into the US Country charts.

I wonder if Rio is big into the Country scene? Maybe? Hi, savvy92. I guess you misunderstood my post. I was not angsting over Adam not performing in Rio. In fact, I wished Phillip good luck in my post, and I meant it. I don't wish other Idols or artists ill -- plenty of fans to go around. And I happen to like a couple of Phillip's songs, so I'm not a hater. I just think that the festival seemed like a nice opportunity for Adam -- exposure to a new audience and a chance to hang with some really great artists, like JT, Muse, Beyonce, etc., some of whom he likes to fan-boy. Would have been fun for him. Of course, there is always next year.

Well, I have to type inside pi's post because there is literally NO PLACE to type outside it... no reply box at all. Zilch. Nada. So, I'll just draw a line between the pic and my typing.
I just wanted to say: Haven't we seen that older white/Caucasian woman in several concert pics? I dunno... maybe in Japan and/or China or Hong Kong? She's looking very familiar!!!
seoulmate, I saw this crowd picture from Shanghai, I don't know whether they are same person or not, sure looks like it. www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.611703808844633.1073741834.100000150586407&type=1&l=a78ee6fa8f
