Regional differences: RED SAUCE? Not sure hat that is, and all the Brass Rails in Pgh, where I grew up and still visit, are gone, but other than that, your recipe sounds right, EXCEPT, Cheese should be Provolone (ha) and along with peppers, hot or not, the steak and cheese should be smothered in Onions, Green Peppers, and (if you choose, which I do,) Mushrooms. I've been to the 2 places in Philly who fight over whose is the best, one's called Patrick's, I think, but don't quote me, and to be honest, it's good but no better than those I've had lots of other places. AND, as far as Adam eating one, can't see it if for no other reason than 1000s of calories and fat grams and carbs. BUT, that being said, it's worth every bad thing that comes along with the yumminess. That would be Pat's King of Steaks! The originator of the cheesesteak. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pat_Olivieri Vs. Geno's They are located across the street from each other on 9th and Passyunk in South Philadelphia. The most famous cheesesteak rivalry in the world. My stomping grounds..my son LOVES PAT'S!!!! I believe Gino's as the stand who had the sign "We serve only Engish Speaking here" That caused a big brohoo..THey took him to court. He won. either way...neither is my favorite so no dinner? |

Cheesesteak sounds interesting.... well, they can substitute it with Stroganoff - not the same thing, but good  However, just reminding (couldn't quite interprest the amount of sarcasm you may have used) that all this catering rider is UNTRUE as per Shoshanna. So no need to worry about Adam's carb intake. Concert!!! |

Actually Adam % co might need to change travel plans. The conditions are better in the morning if the snowing is supposed to slow down soon.
