Hey...does anybody know what happened to the Swiss drummer? He was there for a performance or two and then "poof" So odd...did I miss the discussion on this?
Also...any tweets about the attendance today? Good crowd?

I asked my son to clarify what he did't like about the band and the cds He tried to explain that although Adam's sound on his cd is electronic it didn't have the technical skill and musicality that Muse had. He said most of it was just electronic studio work with some other sound thrown in such as Nile Rogers. He said Muse has electronic sound, performed by an orchestra and brilliant musicians. He really liked the keyboard player that Adam originally had from (Korn?) and wondered why he didn't use him any more. By the Way,I've fallen in love with By The Rules; I can't stop playing and singing it... I think that could have been a huge radio hit. Cam or Kevin? I wasn't around when Cam was part of the band, but I loved Kevin.
ETA: Oh, it was Zak? I don't know him. I will check him out! I don't think Adam has the resources to make the electronic sound Muse has, nor do I think he has the resources to hire an orchestra just like that. I can be wrong, though. IMO, Muse is Muse, Queen is Queen, Adam is Adam. All of them have their highlights, none of them are completely perfect. In Adam's case, Adam himself is the highlight, so I really don't need more than that.  Would I like him to perform surrounded of outstanding musicians? Yes, and I said so the night of the We Are Family Gala. But he has his Glamily band, he's quite content with them, and they are more than adequate. For me, at least at the moment, it's enough.  |
