It bears repeating......
Adam is a solo artist, not a band.
Bands usually form organically from a young(ish) age and grow with each other. If they gel, they have the chance to create music that will go down in history, and the individual musicians may become among the best in the world. This is how you get bands like Led Zeppelin, Queen etc.
Great musicians are either in bands.... Neal Peart, John Bonham.....Jimmy Page, Eddie Van Halen..... John Paul Jones, Geddy Lee. Or solo.... Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix. Not as backing musicians for solo artists.
Of course there is the chance that Adam could fill one position with a genius who is comfortable to remain in the background, but that won't happen at every position. How many top caliber musicians would be content to be in a backing band?
Adam is not established enough to attract or afford top tier talent. That is a fact. How much do you think musicians at the level of his vocal talent cost? How many of them exist?
And saying, "With the right material and sound he would be a greater success". What is right? Rock? Ballads? Toned down Adam? Everyone wants something different. Who has a crystal ball?
Shouldn't we be happy with what he wants..... and with what he achieves doing what he wants?
And a variety show??? Yes, he would be great, but those shows were decades ago. Even so, which network would take a chance on him with such a huge undertaking at this stage of his career? If it were to be done, it would be offered to the likes of a Beyonce or JT..... not Adam.

geezlouise, there are a lot of brilliant professional musicians out there - believe me. I don't think that he needs musicians of the same caliber than he is. But I think that musicians that are more than average (I feel bad saying this about the glamily, but that's the way I feel) would help him to take his live shows to another level. Of course it is already wonderful - but it could be much better....

I watched and listened ... I wonder what this is all about? Me too. Something about Adam's concert and the short after party clip. They also called to Milonov (St Petersburg) who apparently talked about his homophobic views. But I don't speak Russian, so that's just what I saw.
