I agree with Melliemom. I have never visited Russia, but a lot of my friends have and they have experienced there many very awkward situations. MY DH and I have visited St. Petersburg & the city is a wondrous place,but I have to say ,we felt uncomfortable.. It was a feeling of unease and that was before all this show of bigotry. I have visited Moscow and Leningrad (as St. Petersburg was then known) and had an amazing and educational time, but was extremely aware of being in a police state. Police and military everywhere. My sister and I were stopped and harassed by soldiers in Moscow, who demanded to see our papers and then laughed at us and pushed us around a little. Everyone in our group was forced to turn in their passports upon arrival in Russia and they were not returned until the day we left. I don't think anything will happen either, but at the same time I will be glad when Adam and the glamily touch down on free Finnish soil. |

I will do that when Adam is safely in Finland...Being political is easy when you're home sitting at your computer. What Adam is courageously doing is going into the mouth of the dragon.. I'm not going to help stir up any controversy at this point. Just my opinion for what it's worth.IMH Milonov is looking for scapegoats and looking to further his ambitions.. He can interpret OOL in any way that will help his cause.This is not a NICE MAN! I also don't want to make it hard for concert goers who may be afraid of being at Adam's gig.From what I have read there were about 80 arrests of people at Madonna's concert.I will work like a dog for justice after Adam leaves.. sing OOL or not. People like Milonov always find something to stir up controversy - Adam will smile to someone on the street and it will be enough for them. If Milonov really want to harm Adam's concert he will find the way. That's why this is important to show him that he can't do whatever he want to do. He probably will not understand what this is all about, but this is important for fans to feel connected, to show some kind of resistance - OOL can be some kind of anthem for them.Yes I agree ,but I will wait to show resistance and will connect with fans when Adam has left the country.. No Twitter campaign for me at this point.. Too much history with Russia and I know what bigots can do. |

Our friends who traveled the world for almost two years ,said they were the most fearful in Russia. I say" Let Sleeping Dogs Lie" for the time being. |
