Wasn't going to go because the plane tickets were so expensive. And I need to be spending my money on visiting with my Dad while there is still time (he is 83). I decided to take Dad to The (Canadian) Tenors (not the 3 Tenors) concert in the city where by sister & brother live the Friday before Adam's concert. They are one of Dad's favorite groups. Dad lives 4-5 hours from my sister and his dance partner will drive him there. But it's 2 day's drive for me, so I'm flying. And the plane tickets from there to San Diego was real cheap. So I decided I could make a side trip to San Diego before going home and the plane ticket would not cost much more. And I found someone selling a ticket in the Floor4 section in front of the stage. They have another ticket (includes dinner) if anyone is interested. I'm taking my Zoom Q3HD to get a really good audio recording, assuming security doesn't stop us. Now I just need to find a roommate for the hotel and a ride from the airport and I'll be all set! |

Aleks: Just wanted to say thank you for your honest and insightful post. There are many angels on Atop, I agree. I suspect they will still be there when the time is right for you to attend a concert. (Hold out for a meet and greet ;-) Sandy:))) All I can say is that Canadians are very persistent people:))) Who knew, lol Haha.. that's different. We are usually accused of being too polite I'll take persistent. |
