I am not an expert on fan videos but I have watched a lot of them and this may be the best I have ever seen. So the question for today: Is this the best fan vid ever?

Just what the title says. It's about Adam Lambert, it uses a mashup of Give it 2 me (Madonna) and Wild Thing (Tone Loc) and a mashup of vids of Adam mostly from his recent WAG tour.... oh and yeah..... it's wude! LMAO
PS I did not block access via cell/mobile phones. Youtube did it because there's been a copyright claim over part of the music I used. Sorry! I'm trying to find alternatives to host it where cell phones can access it.

This appeared on the New York Times…in an article about someone else. It is becoming more common that Adam is the exemplar of the “not your average reality TV star.”

The modern era of reality-TV singing competitions has been with us for just over a decade, and even though in that time they have minted a few stars — Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Hudson — it’s arguable that in terms of impact on the shape of pop music, they’ve served absolutely no purpose at all.
They are not designed for innovation, these behemoths — “American Idol,” “The X Factor” — which aim for the widest possible viewership. What emerges from these shows are singers schooled in or aspiring to ape older fussy styles: vintage country, show tunes, Motown, bar rock.
The closest the genre has come to minting a modern forward-looking pop star (not counting Ms. Clarkson, whose cutting edge has been sharpened by others) is Adam Lambert, though during his time on “Idol” all he wanted to do was sing like Freddie Mercury.
