Does anyone know why they took Rick's drums away? Was it a joke? I mean, Music Again wasn't even the last song! :-/ I thought Rick was having trouble with his cymbals...but then there were 3 guys on it? WTF, I say? And the vid panned away, so I never did know what was happening. Wouldn't ya think they'd take down the instruments AFTER the band left the stage???? I don't know how Adam kept it together. I would have been on my knees laughing.. before I fired the roadies..(J/K..they did a fab job) ETA: OH>>an end of tour joke???? Now that is even more hilarious! And makes sense now..

The only Adam Fan videos I usually watch are the ones with his music. I know the others can be lots of fun because he's always fun to watch but I prefer to hear him singing and not some other dude. Or dudes.

NO WAY. On so many levels.. First, Kurt's gravel voice made the Nirvana sound what it was. IMO, trying to reproduce even a fraction of that raw gravel would shred Adam's voice, but Nirvana isn't Nirvana without the gravel. Second, Nirvana was all about the angst. Pretty much nuth'n but angst. That's rather bleak for our mostly sunny Adam. Angst is a part of life, but a diet of angst alone is hard on the personality (sure didn't help Cobain) [irony] Oh I so agree with you NO WAY. Adam could not step into Kurt Cobain's shoes. No one can do that. And although I think it would be interesting for Adam to Adamize a few Nirvana songs (Teen Spirit has been on my Adam cover dream list since 2009). But no, Adam cannot do grudge angst/desparation.. And Adam never stepped into Freddie Mercury's shoes -- he just sang the songs in his own magnificent way but was always Adam. ** Seriously, what does this vocal have to do with Adam Lambert? www.youtube.com/watch?v=hTWKbfoikeg

I'm reading and re-reading recaps and so f-g happy for you all I was re-watching The F-word and realized that I might've inherited from Adam the tiniest bathroom in the world, really not in LA, though, pity, but still And one more thought. I'm watching today all these fantastic fanvids and mad at myself - I have two fanvids still in the works and my old one not all that fabulous

They had the power to make the decision today and didn't. Actually, there was no possibility that they would make a decision today. The US Supreme Court has 9 justices who each must review the augments and amicus briefs, and deliberate before the court makes a ruling. In addition, they are hearing a related case tomorrow which is about inheritance taxes and DOMA (Defense of Marriage Act). The court may decide to do nothing on Prop 8 which would be a very good thing because the lower court ruling that Prop 8 is unconstitutional will stand and Same Sex Marriage will be legal in California. Both cases could result in narrow rulings. Here is a really good summary of 5 possible outcomes: sanfrancisco.cbslocal.com/2013/03/26/5-possible-outcomes-of-the-proposition-8-hearing/ ** The good news is that there are Same Sex Marriage legalization efforts with a very good chance of passing in many states -- Illinois, Ohio, Delaware, etc. So it is just a matter of time.

Want to say how thrilled I am for dear, dear Albiku – no one ‘deserved’such a meeting more.Awwww, thank you so much!!!! I still can't believe this happened to me. As we walked passed Adam’s hotel, I told them that I would be too shy and inhibited ever to try to talk to Adam and would probably run a mile if I saw him close up.
Minutes later I didfind myself running – but certainly not away from Adam!!! When screams told us that Adam was about to leave the hotel, my inhibitions were cast to the winds and I ran across the road like a mad woman while my Atop companions stood their ground in the most mature and dignified fashion. (Actually, I pulled down my woolly hat and wrapped my scarf around myface in case I ended up in the background of a YouTube vid – LOL – but Romewasn’t built in a day)… I had such a good view of him as he signed autographs….he is beautiful…the kind of face you’d look at in the street, and remember, even if he were a stranger. He looked smaller (just more humanly scaled) and more delicate somehow than I’d imagined and I was left with the impression of gentle manner and movement. He was thanking people and his speaking voice was musical; he was so happy and healthy and smiling. lol Lilly must think we're all crazy. I told her I wouldn't go after Adam, and look at what I did at the airport. I didn't know you had been at the hotel, by the way!!!! It must have been great!!!! You thought he looked smaller? I thought he was so tall!!! But yeah, I agree with the rest of your perception. Exactly what I thought when I met him. His speaking voice is so beautiful!!! We had a delicious, very amusing and very long lunch; I must thank Lilly and Tilly for…er… completing some aspects of my education……<I CAN'T EVEN!!!! The Finnberts we met at the Namu dinner the previous night were so welcoming and inclusive - and gloriously enthusiastic about all things Adam. (The Finns are also physically beautiful people – I recognised Sauli’s distinctive bone structure everywhere). It was amazing how our little Atop group all gelled immediately – Bobo, Betty and her charming husband, PostFestum, Albiku and her lovely boyfriend, Daydreamer and her daughter - I felt I’d known (and loved) them forever.
More Atoppers joined us the next night at The Tiger, after the concert, and our booth was full of new friendships that already felt well-established and rooted in fertile common ground. Have to say a huge thank you to PostFestum - the most thoughtful, capable and generous of hosts.…great job, my new old friend! almost stole the show with their hugely fun and energetic KickinIn. The audience didn’t lose energy at all while waiting for Adam to change –and that’s some achievement. Clever Adam!Yeah, I actually thought the skit and Kickin In were great. I was pleasantly surprised. I’m thrilled that I witnessed the WAG era and so glad it was the glorious Helsinki one – both for the man and for the Atoppers I met; they are all even better in real life!!..

WOW! I thoroughly enjoyed that! I'm all giddy that Adam is being introduced into yet another strata of the international music world. This is one of those times I bet he pinches himself to see if this experience is real. And other artists become familiar with Adam as well. Doesn't get much better than this..must make the struggles worth it, these sweet times. I would expect Adam is in extravaganza heaven..wait until May! He's appearing in this Ball in some capacity..why else do interviews and...recording??? I actually dreamed about this ball last night. Adam wasn't in it, but the characters were so vivid and the colors were astonishing. Had a great time.. cheaper than flying..lol.. Thanks, JazzRocks!
