China Music Chart Award is like the Chinese version of Grammy award. It is the most influential and important China music award in pop genre. Almost all Chinese (including mainland, Macau HK, Taiwan and overseas Chinese artists) major artists and super stars would attend. I'm so happy for Adam. I would say that he's almost 80% if not 100% chance of getting the award. What award is Adam nominated for? And who is he competing against? |

I know they get hits and people connect to this site..but, really? Another poll? I mean, enough already. I vote for polka dots. I am Popcrushed out. And I want to thank Q3 for taking the time to ~have to watch all those vids..  You picked some great ones. Also for cleaning up the coming appearances section of page 1. All those grey lines meant that WAG was really over and it was kinda sad to see. Now we can look forward.  |

I apologize for my foul language and rude behaviour last night. I was sleep deprived and I did not know it was an old video - pathetic excuses, I know. I am very sorry.
 Oh, bb...no need to apologize to me anyway. I tried to catch you before you left once we found out it was an old vid. Why is was posted, I still don't quite get, but whatever...We all have triggers and especially when tired. I got a bit agitated by it as well and when I found out if was from 2009, I said..'check your sources, Viv'. But que sera..itza over Aleks. Context is everything, eh? I wonder if this is a paid appearance...or if all the publicity is the de facto "compensation". I am sure all travel expenses are covered. in general - Are artists paid for presenting/performing at award gigs? (this was probably discussed before but I can't remember what was said :() |

(Posting while working is not the best thing to do.) ETA: On the question about being paid to appear or perform on an awards show -- artist are not paid to perform on The Grammys. The artist's label usually covers expenses (which are then charged to the artist). That is typical for major awards in the US. My guess is that at least Adam's expenses are covered to get him to go to China but I know very little about the business in China. |
