Well now. Who was just mentioning that Sauli comes here? And Adam may too? Sauli just recommended some music, something I have never noticed him to do before.
Of Monsters and Men " Little Talk".
I like both One Republic songs very much. I will buy that album.

My first time trying to post a photo and the spacing came out all messed up....oh well There are still things I don't get about the new format. I've had trouble with quotes, especially when I'm trying to delete part of a long quote so I can respond just to the part I'm interested in without wasting space. I've had all kinds of screw-ups with that! Hey ....me too. Have asked Q3...but little can be done I guess...SO FRUSTRATING. If it is a long quote there is no scroll bar so that I can type a response...so I only quote short responses. Glad to here it is not my systems. My iPad and desk top respond the same to this quote format. Darn

I love Adam's Sleepwalker. I love Beyonce's Halo. I love Kelly's Already Gone. So I am not as down on Tedder as most. He is a good writer and has written many hits. He knows how to write for people who can sing, unlike Dr Luke who over produces. I think Tedder and Adam could do a good song together, especially if we are talking a lean towards Pop/Rock. ETA: I think he also wrote on Adele's last album

Q3 why don't you think Adam will work with Max Martin? I would love to see them work together, too. Refresh my memory why we. (You & everyone that comments about them ) don't like these 2 I'm too lazy to look it up but often see this same opinion. In reference to my "Please do not work on Adam #3 list": Dr. Luke and Ryan Tedder, I can't speak for anyone else but here are my reasons. Dr. Luke's production style is too complex and he buries the vocals, make them muddy. I believe that Dr. Luke has spent so many years producing pop songs for artists who are not strong vocalists that he has no idea what to do with Adam. Ryan Tedder is too boring, middle of the road, and represents the musical direction I do not want Adam to head in. I do not want Adult Contemporary Adam. But JMHO and Adam will do what he want to do. And since Dr. Luke is part of the RCA team, I would not be surprised if he is involved with Adam #3. ETA: Regarding Tedder, yes, he co-wrote some music I love, but the bulk of his work is boring, derivative and pedestrian. And he gets paid a ton of money to create music that ends up as filler tracks on albums because his production is not contemporary. Example: Sleepwalker -- great song, great vocalist with a overlong guitarbreak and all that overdubbing track crap. I want Adam to work with Sam Sparro again!

Also, no Claude Kelly song as the first single. Not that I dislike Claude Kelly songs in general, especially as Claude Kelly's songs have been turned into spectacular videos (FYE and BTIKM), and for sure he can have a co-write on the album somewhere if it is absolutely necessary ... but not the first single. I tend to go with idea that the definition of crazy is doing the same thing over and over again but expecting a different result.
Please don't let them think ... third time's a charm.

I think it is a given that Adam will work with Sam again. But in my eyes, it isn't the songs on the albums. Both albums are full of excellent songs. It will all boil down to RCA choosing the right singles & RCA getting radio to play them. I know there will be great songs. I have no doubt. I know Adam will work his butt off doing promo for the new material. For me, RCA is still the wildcard. :(

Yep, on Dr. Luke www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/doug-morris-dr-luke-sony-258729"Sony also locked down Dr. Luke’s production services exclusively for five years, meaning he’ll no longer be able to work with Perry or other artists outside of the Sony system -- no doubt the company’s experience with Rick Rubin, who while serving as co-president of Columbia produced albums by Warner Music acts Linkin Park, Kid Rock and Josh Groban, was a cautionary tale."

At first, not being familiar with the industry, I did not feel comfortable having an opinion on RCA's performance when it comes to Adam. But it is apparent if you look at JT's recent incredible album roll out that they know how to promote an album if it is an easy sell. They have not convinced me yet that they know how to develop an artist, even if they are behind that artist 100 70 percent. They don't appear to me to be hard workers and are not very bold. I hope they do a better job with album 3.

Does anyone think that the songs that did not make Trespassing may have some place on this album? I remember a tweet that Eber made that indicated Adam was switching gears on the album midstream. some thing like "go with your instinct"(might have been why it took as long as it did) I don't think any song Adam has made would be bad just perhaps did not fit the flow he wanted in Trespassing. If, in fact, this might happen new music soonish rather than lateish..

Artists usually pass those up, if they didn't love them enough the first time. I will be bold, however, though and say that I believe Adam has a single ready to go and we will have it by summer. Yup! I believe that!
