I popped in earlier to see if anything was happening and read the news of Adam and Sauli breaking up. Since then I have been so sad. Knowing how much Adam wanted to be in a steady relationship, I feel bad that he will be alone again. Having a career that requires so much traveling, it will always be hard to maintain a relationship unless the partner travels with him. Very sad news, indeed. I don't agree that their separate and busy schedules are the only reason for the split. Spending time together in the early stages of a relationship is important but once established should not matter so much. My husband travels a lot and I actually love it when he's not home. I get the best of both worlds; time to do my own thing and I can always look forward to romantic times together. The only time I did resent the time he spent away was when I had young kids and it felt like I was a single parent a lot of the time. Elton John and David Furnish must spend a lot of time apart but they make it work. They have Nannies to look after their kids so they don't have the same trying to juggle careers while child rearing with no sleep pressures. ITA -- my husband and I have lived in two different place for work a number of times for a year or more at a time. We are still together and raised a great kid.

I know I love a good news cycle.....This one..Not so much. Haha! Shoshanna tweeted something about twitter being all about Halle Berry today. I guess my feed is a tad more Adamcentric cuz no one is talking about Halle Berry! LOL!

I went through my turmoil, sleepness nights, and nauseousness the end of Jan and beginning of Feb. Not being casual about it, just not surprised, that's all. Same here. Remember the "Elephant in the Room" back then? Two months to come to terms to what MIGHT be happening so I'm not surprised. But I'm still sad. Just wanted to say that this is what happened to me too....I felt sick back then that something seemed to have gone very wrong. So I suppose, like others, I have sub-consciously adapted to the idea of todays' news. Very, very sad but it's not the shock it might have been.

Need to say something before I go to sleep... Today was a really bad day At morning, me and my brother were in a car accident.. Yeah, it was a icy road and my brother lost the control if his car. We're all fine, just a little scratches and the car is just a big pile of trash And now the info about breakup.. I don't know what to say, I'm in tears and don't really understand why, because I'm not the one who broke up.. I just feel like I shouldn't have left the bed this morning.. Just sleep through all these bad feelings awwww.... Yeah, I feel the same way---> shouldn't have gotten out of bed. pats you

My DH went to Scotland for a year. I don't feel it affected our relationship at all.

Drive-by to say when I came here I knew something was up with the number of people here...
But while I didn't think this was the news I would find here, my first reaction was "wow, but not surprised" yet a bit sad. Who knows what really happened, but my personal thoughts are perhaps some mutual feeling in the breakup. But it is never easy in any event.
I believe Adam when he says they will remain friends. I wish them both the best...

It helped having almost a 'warning sign of things to come' so that what we learned today was less of a total shock. Not gonna lie...still having a hard time though...
