Audio files for some of the QAL concerts and other concerts have been provided in the very high quality FLAC audio format. (Send me PC if you want specific links and I'll dig them up.) This are much higher quality than MP3 files or even AAC. You can play these FLAC files on a PC using the VLC Media Player. Now, mmyy9 has provided a list of Android and iPod apps that will play the FLAC files. I'll put the full twitter longer list in the How To thread. Warning, you will need alot of file space on your phone for FLAC files.

Haven't posted in a really long time but, reading yesterday's thread and seeing how so many of you were affected by the news just like I was, I thought I'd share my thoughts. Like so many of you I had kinda seen it coming,things were off for a while. So even though it was still kind of a shock, it wasn't as surprising as it could have been. Our instincts were definitely right, in my case I just pushed them aside because it was their relationship and none of my business. What did surprise me however, was my reaction to it. I never realised how invested I had gotten in this whole thing 'til I read the news about the split. It isn't the first time I stan someone like with Adam, it isn't the first time a singer/celeb I follow broke up with someone. And yet, I never had the type of reaction I had yesterday. It caught me off guard. Sure, I would be sad for them, sympathize and even empathize with the situation but that's it, life goes on and all that. Yesterday however I was shaking, I had a knot in my stomach, I felt it as if 2 of my closest friends or even me myself had gone through the break up. It was unsettling. I was so tense I had to force myself to cry last night in order to relax and be able to fall asleep, otherwise I would have just tossed and turned all night long. I guess having come into this fandom in late February/early March of 2011 my stanning grew as their relationship did. I got accostumed to the idea of the 2 as an item, because that's how I've always seen them. I guess my romantic side won over my rational side in this matter. Still, (and using my rational side for this part  ) life does indeed go on and as we all know most things in life aren't permanent. We all go through our fair share of break ups and failed relationships. They make us grow, they teach us something. Adam and Sauli had a beautiful thing and brought a lot of joy to each other. Things ran their course and now it's over. We've all been there. I just wish them both all the happiness in the world, and that hopefully one day they'll find in someone else what they, in the long run, didn't find in each other. They deserve it. The romantic in me still appreciates all the cute boyfriend pics we got though.  I'm gonna miss that and seeing Adam light up when in love. But sometimes it's better to let go of something then to prolong things and make it worse. At least this way they can remain friendly. Ok I've said enough now. Carry on Excited for the things to come for Adam. ETA: By the way my prediction for 2M followers: May 3rd, 2:30. I am totally wrong but hey, it would be a nice b-day present |

Hello everyone . Hope everyone is feeling better today With the A&S news being the main topic on the forum yesterday , and "it" being the main topic in my own head as well , I didn't understand at all the at&t thing , I didn't understand what it had to do with idol , didn't understand the "commercial" thing , and I didn't understand anything . Help ? what's at&t ? And there was a shoot today , right ? shoot of what ? for what ? and when are we supposed to see it ? My mind's a mess ? please let's just talk about the things to come now ... |

Hello, everyone:) I hope you all feel a little bit better today:) Your posts helped me cope yesterday, so thank you; I especially loved Nikki's post, and Haribert's, and Augenpoesie's art... and many others, sorry I can't remember all the names, I'm a bit out of commission, so to speak, you'll understand:) I wish to repeat HSM's words to Finnberts from yesterday; special greetings to all of them here, extra big hug to you from me and I hope we can still show our love and support for both Adam and Sauli here together. About Adam and Sauli, the two wonderful people, I wish them both to find what they are looking for, in love, in business, in life; Nothing more to add... that deserves to leave the corners of my mind, that is:) As a last corny touch, I'll offer: "I can't think about that right now. If I do, I'll go crazy. I'll think about that tomorrow. After all... tomorrow is another day." I mean.... how's that for corny?  )) But it works for me, so there you go. Any links to Idol may just be fan speculation. There were several tweets yesterday praising Adam for his professionalism in a "shoot" that occurred yesterday. These tweets were from people working on the shoot and they clarified that it was NOT a photo shoot but that they could not say anything else. Since one of the tweets was from a teleprompter company, it seems likely that the "shoot" was a video taping. We are speculating that the "shoot" is this commercial or public service announcement mentioned. In addition, there was an announcement about a contest sponsored by AT&T in which 10 winners would meet Adam and attend a private concert. The breakup didn't chance my mind about either of them. I loved Adam's music before he even met Sauli, had the FYE cd and everything. I've been Sauli's fan since BB, he has always been my favourite contestant of all times. I think it was wonderful that they fell in love with eachother. I surely did feel kinda special, because I knew both of them before they met eachother, and I was able to understand what Sauli said in Tutkas and his blogs. I will definitely look forward what they are up to next and I will continue to support both of them. |
