Adam's friends Vintage Trouble were on Jay Leno last night singing "Pelvis Pusher." I wonder if Adam would get a lot of flack if he sang a song with a title like that... probably. Vintage Trouble are a lot of fun. Here's a youtube:

I have come to the conclusion that Adam's life is theatre and he is always on stage. I have come to the conclusion that it is the drama in life that excites me and keeps me coming back to this very talented man. I have learned a great lesson from the past two years, and I will never, never let any of Adam's future lovers into my thoughts and feelings. This has been more devastating than I can handle at this time in my life. I am too old for this sh*t. Isn't it the other way round - talking about Adam's side of the equation here?. Isn't it that Adam's life as a performer has migrated down from the stage and into his real life? He has no chance to live a normal private life, he cannot clock out at 5 pm or ever for that matter. So he learned how to navigate that situation. Retain some privacy - but give at other times, play the media - withhold certain topics from the media, talk to fans - leave some questions unanswered. But it also has become this game of chess. Adam makes a move, like giving SFGN the break-up info, then he waits for the reaction. Observes the media reaction, observes the fan reaction. Then he can make another move. And so on... All the while, his private life continues in parallel to the chess game. Sometimes the game will mirror his life, sometimes it will deviate from it in bizarre ways, while claiming to represent it. Adam's public persona is on a stage, that is true, but that is not all of who he is. And it is not Adam's choice either, at least not as long as we keep watching. Adam is keeping it as real as I have ever seen any public figure do and he is very brave in doing so. I am appreciative, thankful to be able to witness it and think about it. I feel neither right nor need to be in any way critical of the public persona he is showing us. The only topic I have to manage is my level of involvement. And that is at times a struggle. But that is my issue, not his.

Aww....irish...I recommend not getting too invested in general in any of the peeps that surround Adam. For myself, I divested a bit from Adam after the AMA's!! To be so personally invested in a superstar's daily life turned out to be a bit too draining for me. As for his bandmates, friends and lovers, well they are HIS bandmates, friends and lovers, not mine. I have no control over who he chooses to hang out with or who he chooses to replace in his band. The less invested I am in these relationships, the more I am free to just love Adam for where he is and what he is currently up to. I hope everyone is having a beautiful day. I keep smiling at the knowledge that he is playing a major Gay Pride gig. I love this and all it represents!! I am slowly beginning to understand what it means to be a fan. This is my first time at this (and my last). Everything has been a new experience. Certainly has made me feel foolish sometimes (especially at this age). You are absolutely right, and thank you for your post. I am not too old to learn, and I am learning. I am back to looking forward to Miami now. I just want to get close enough to see him up close. I have never had that opportunity. Hope my wish comes true. It will probably be the last time unless he comes south again. I am really getting excited, and can't wait to see all you gals that are coming. I want hugs from everyone because that is what we do. The best parts of loving Adam are all you Glamberts.

This is from December when they were on Letterman. www.youtube.com/watch?v=ThZZnS4JvwcAlso, look on youtube for their song Nancy Lee featuring Carmit Bachar. peace&love ETA - Hey, it embedded even though was only trying to post the link. Oops!

Just FYI for all the folks that bought these VIP tickets:
@alfann about the Perineum Pit Tix' (for Pittsburgh Pride)
I had a very long telephone conversation with the concert promoter (Gary A van Horn Jr) and the Premium Pit tickets are not in front of the stage - the Pit area is a raised platform (enclosed) off to the side of the stage - they have tables and dinner & tab;e service)
Our GA tix we purchased from pre sale are for front of stage access - there is NO Pit area in the front of the stage it';s all GA. the $125 Pit tickets are for the area at the side

Concluding that Adam is theatre and on stage was not meant to criticize him. I am beginning to understand that he has to do that. I will never really know the real Adam. I am not a close personal friend and anything personal to do with him is none of my business. This is something I have to keep telling myself. This is the first time I have been a fan. Like the rest of you, he is so appealing you want him for a real friend. Not possible. I feel overwhelmed and obsessed sometimes being a fan. I do not want to be like this. I want to just enjoy the talent and that is all.
