A NEW interview: www.hotspotsmagazine.com/featured/2792-adam-lambert-headlines-miami-beach-gay-pride.htmlof interest to me: " What should Miami Pride expect from your performance?Expect a lot of energy. I am bringing 2 of my dancers who were just on tour with me and we are going to throw it down. What’s ahead for Adam Lambert? I have a couple of things brewing with my great management team. I do have a new recording project in the works. After that, I want to see what else, other than music, I can experiment with." the pink bolded is mine - I WANT HIM TO CONTINUE WITH MUSIC, so it is a bit scary to hear this... to clarify - anything he does would be interesting as long as he continues singing....

I approve too. I really love Adam's statement in that Wire article -- "I am my own boss and I get to do what I love as a career. I feel very fortunate and I plan to keep measuring success in the happiness I get to share with my family, friends and fans." I hope the bit about measuring success by happiness is true!I'd just copied this bit out as well. I think it should be filed away as reference for the next time we all start angsting about how WE measure success .

I know what you mean, Nica. As to me - I'm not concerned. I'm sure he won't abandon music, after all it's what defines his life. I would love to see him on the big or small screen, or making a fashion collection or even writing; it'd be exciting to see new faces of Adam. As to the music - sometimes, when you do the same thing over and over again you sort of lose perspective, can't see your work as a whole, can't judge it properly (know it from my own experience), then you need to step back to regain your unique point of view, your feeling of what you do, why you do it and what to do with what you do (hm-m, hope it sounds english-y enough 8-| : )

Interesting interview, though as someone who mostly just wants an album 3, I am not exactly jumping up and down with his wording. And I am all for measuring success in happiness, but I don't think that's how a major label works...
Honestly, I am just a little surprised that we aren't hearing something about the next album. It is nearly mid-April, so the wheels should be turning.
