Interesting interview, though as someone who mostly just wants an album 3, I am not exactly jumping up and down with his wording. And I am all for measuring success in happiness, but I don't think that's how a major label works... Honestly, I am just a little surprised that we aren't hearing something about the next album. It is nearly mid-April, so the wheels should be turning. Maybe Adam learned a thing or two about giving time for new album.. remember Ish and Maypril..IMHO Better this way and when it's out It's OUT.. no disappointments . |

LOL I justed checked what Tommy might have been about with his comment about Candice and the Lovesong by The Cure. Of couse NOONE never ever could come close and a cover would be "blasphemy" !!! (Check out an original, nothing can compare - esp live .... there was a special tone/pain/feeling that cannot be copied - and not by Adele either, ok she kindof invented it new and sounds awsome)
Imagine someone trying to cover OOL ... different people, different setting, same thing. No matter how good, how touching and heartfelt, ... just very very wrong (esp for an invested fan, who Tommy certainly is).

Whatever Adam does, I can't imagine he would stop singing but I would be thrilled to see him do a TV project, preferable that involved talking and singing. |
