I am certain that Adam not being on Idol is his/his management's choice, and that he could be on the show and sing the phone book if he wanted to.
With 6 open slots left this season, and only 3 or 4 more popular alums left to book, I am sure they would book Adam if he was willing and the deal is right.
Separate from me wanting another Adam performance, strategically I am not sure that being on Idol does him any good.
Whereas building Adam's Gay fanbase and a strong foundation in Asia makes strategic sense to me. Watch for a focus on adult women when he gets closer to releasing new music.
Next time he is on Idol, I hope it is with a hit song! Son of WWFM!

Adam not preforming on Idol this season is totally not a surprise. Idol is great if you have something to promote (or you have absolutely nothing else going on like Clay), but at this stage in his career what good would it really do him to go on that show and sing a cover? Well - to remind millions of viewers what a great charismatic and talented singer you are? So it's definite he won't be on there? I am totally disappointed. With the LGBT movement in the forefront, he could have sung "Outlaws of Love" without the reggae. My sister watched Adam on Idol and is a casual fan. Awhile back, when I told her about the struggles he is having in the US, she said "Why doesn't he just sing something like Soaked on Idol and just blow everyone away?" Doesn't have to be Soaked but anything that really showcases his vocals. I don't think his performances of Aftermath or NCOE blew people away (at least they didn't blow away my sister, the casual fan). |

Hmmm .... the thread is shady today . A bit spooky . Why , guys ? Why are there peeps saying "OMG he's getting irresponsible and careless" (based on a fan tweet , no real facts , lol!!) and there peeps saying "OMG , no Idol appearance" wait but what would an Idol performance with NO SINGLE to promote help him ? Get the ppl to remember Adam ? really ? Well , I remember he did a NCOE performance on Idol last year , and guess what ? it did not help him , or the single itself , much tbh . And anyways , when he does have a new single , then yeah I'm sure he'll get to perform on Idol (and all the other shows too)
And there are peeps saying "Where's the oofta tattoo? " Sure it is still there , no worries . But , let's get real and talk like this : If he removes it , Why would we have to worry over it ? It doesn't affect us , it's none of our business . And there are peeps saying "I'm worried for Adam because he is single now" WHAT ? Why ?? You think Adam can't live as a single man ? Really ? I don't think so .
Please , no bad blood here . Don't take me wrong , don't take it personally , I just wanna say this : STOP worrying over nothing , guys , really . Adam is great . Looks great . He is having fun . He has a show tomorrow . It's fine , it's good . It's perfect , there's a lot lot lot to look forward to .
It is not my intention to offend anybody with this post . If it does offend you , just think of it like this : I am a very young naive girl just writing random things in this thread . It's not worth it getting offended by this naive post , ok ?
