I do believe Adam has been working out, his arms are becoming more defined. Very nice.

Having Adam perform as part of Miami is a big leap -- that may account for all the excitement. Last year Chaz Bono was the grand marshal and the performers were musical performances by Wynter Gordon, Jessica Sutta from the Pussy Cat Dolls, JoJo, Kristine W, Frenchie Davis and others.

35 pics(same) from Zimbio. www.zimbio.com/pictures/qbV5c5jWZiT/Adam+Lambert+in+Miami/EOYa4r_on0lAdam Lambert at a press conference announcing a concert as part of Gay Pride in Miami Beach tomorrow. Adam, looking tanned and sporting lots of jewelry including a bracelet with his name in diamonds, wore an outfit with a subtle leopard print design that can be seen in the daylight. He also has black polish on both his fingers and toe nails. (April 13, 2013 - Source: PacificCoastNews.com) He is so DARN sexy with his 5 o'clock shadow... ARRGGHHHHH

I'm way way behind today, but wait... Adam's only singing SIX SONGS??? But what about this tweet: Kyle Collins @kylecollinsBREAKING - Just spoke with a top Pride official who says @adamlambert's show Sun will be "above + beyond" what was expected #MiamiBeachPride
Why all the headlining hype if it's only six songs? I'M CONFUSED, cause I thought it was gonna be like a CONCERT!!! Maybe he's gonna get down and dirty - like show some skin

Guys, Adam will be on Idol Finale in China, forget about US for a minute. By staying away he is actually putting distance between the other idols and him, because not one of them could play the role that he is playing in China. Let's face it, Idol is the singing show number 3 in the Chinese market, it is the one that needs to find its place in a hopefully not yet totally saturated market. They invited the strongest voice and greatest presence from the original idol. What a compliment and sign of appreciation and trust.
Adam is opening a huge market for himself over there and other Asian countries are certainly going to take notice too. If he were on both Idol shows, it would just look to idol insiders like Adam is doing the reality show circus, totally not the impression he either wants to or needs to give.
Add to that, that the present group of producers who run this years idol are the ones that ultimately decided against him and chose a different panel. Should he really now just stand there and sing for them. He is staying away, when they actually, given their own sagging ratings would probably like to have him on. Good message to imprint in their minds. And I am glad that they cannot blame their bad ratings on Adam, because yoou know that it would have happened, had he been a judge.
Am. Idol in the US is presently struggling to find its own identity or vision back. It is always hard sitting at the top spot, because from there the only way is down. Idol was this mega rich banquet that everybody came to feed on and I think that feeding frenzy has now hollowed out what once used to be a feast.
What is the purpose of AI? Be a hit show with top ratings (Fox' agenda)? Be a money maker for AT&T and all the other sponsors with their fingers in the pie? Produce a winner who can be a hit making recording artist? That's what the contestants want, maybe. Some also seem on there for the exposure or the sob story or whatever. Then there are the judges. What is their agenda? For Steve Tyler and JLo it was a career relaunch attempt, and I think Mariah thought something similar. For the competitors (Voice, X-Factor) Idol was the leader and therefore needed to be chased. They very successfully managed to spin the media story against idol, let all the blame hit idol alone. When people discuss how idol was not successful, I always have to laugh. Where are the successful recording artists from the Voice or X-factor, please? Idol is winning that race by a mile.
But when it comes to TV interest, I think that Idol comes across as dated and the music performed is ancient, which does not help. All attempts at a face life have been rather half hearted or unsuccessful, imo. Sure, any idol performance is still ratings wise a big gig, but Adam does not need it this minute. He can afford to sit this one out, and I think that is a position that outside of Kelly and Carrie no other idol is in.
Why does Adam need to be on there now? So that his fans have bragging rights on the internet about what Adam all did in the last 12 months? Sure, there are many people who don't have a clue how alive Adam's career is right now, but will an idol visit cure that perception, I doubt it. Adam needs to build his fanbase the old fashioned way, from the ground up when it comes to any folks beyond the initial Glambert group he brought along in 2009. He is doing that, step by step. Miami is on the way, he is using the momentum in the gay community that is finally leaning his way. With the gay community a stronger allay he can move forward in other areas next time around. I think it is probably a wise move to pass on idol this year, and put me also on the list of those who think that Adam and his team made that choice, not the show.
