If the guy's point is that the award should not be given to celebs but to non-celebs instead, why doesn't he just say so and spend his energy highlighting a few candidates he thinks would be preferable? When I see that he says Adam Lambert's picture makes him want to "puke," calls him a "kid" and a "boy," mocks him for make-up, and trivializes, demeans, and dismisses his relationship ("boy break-up"), I think I must be reading the words of a scared homophobe . . . But I know I'm not. So is this some remnant of self-loathing, is it jealousy, is it a generational divide? I don't know, but whatever it is, it ain't pretty. But Adam sure is !!! Not to mention so much wiser than this older man, so much more "in tune" with THE message - that love is love is love. No name-calling please! Such generalizations are simply not valid!!!Uh, I'm a right wing Republican and I totally denounce everything this man said. Be careful stereotyping people.

The editor who wrote the "article" (i use the term loosely) is clearly a mean-spirited jack-ass (who's probably jealous of Adam's "assets"). He will get no hits from me and he can take my silence for agreement if he likes (he would be wrong). He isn't worth the time it would take me to craft an answer to his nonsense.

I have a love/hate relationship with Steve Gray, but I found myself nodding a lot while reading this piece.

Be careful stereotyping people. True enough. Point taken.

I believe that Mr. Kent sees himself as one of the "... unheralded champions of justice that fight the good fight for LGBT justice everyday." and that makes him more worthy of the Davidson/Valentini Award than Adam.
He is jealous.
