ETA: thanks for your responses regarding the Idol vs Voice question. Yes, that is my impression as well, that they seem to be less competitive, but rather that they are both looking for singing credentials and Adam is the go-to man for that. Not a complement for the American Popmusic culture that they are unable to dig up a second name to represent both vocals as well as current popularity, but it certainly is good for Adam at this point.
