I think that Adam sang that bit of MacArthur Park on May 24, 2012 on Bravo's "Watch What Happens Live + After Show" but I just watched the video clips and did not hear it. Must be in a clip I can't find. It was a show with Beth Ditto and they were so funny together it was fun to rewatch!

Andy Cohen mentions the deaths of Robin Gibb & Donna Summer and asks Beth Ditto & Adam to name their fav DS & Bee Gees song. Adam says Staying Alive & MacArthur Park. He says he loves the end of MP and sort of imitates DS singing the big notes at the end. |

The good news is I watched the whole show and aftershow, and had so much fun! I can't remember Adam being funnier. Someone should give Adam and Beth Ditto a talk show! I don't have a DVR but am planning to set up a PC with a TV tuner and a media software that will capture stuff directly to my PC. Unfortunately, back problems have postponed many of my plans. |

I thought tonight's version of Stay on Idol was really bad. The arrangement was all wrong. And Angie sang it like she was angry. She totally missed the hurt, longing and the begging to stay of the song!
I had to go and listen to Adam's immediately after the show.

It looks to me that nothing is the same after Adam, and why am I not surprised .. Adam is the one and only and it will always be. As Paula say once, Adam is iconic, and it is true. ![]() |
