Ok is anyone else watching Dancing with the Stars? A group from Camden is dancing and I SWEAR that was Adam in the audience!!! He is!! He is probably supporting Brooke, and he is wearing the Miami Pride outfit!! Yup. I saw them, too. I thought I was daydreaming until they showed him and Brooke several times. |

BMG? Why is she calling RCA/SONY, BMG? I know it is part of their complete title but I never hear people say BMG for the label. Cook was with RCA/SONY and was signed when he won season 7. He was dropped really quickly after his 2nd album and it's single went nowhere. He has been with Simon Fuller's management company XIX, ever since Simon started it. He is still with XIX and I guess they are considered the label releasing it. I like David. He's a good guy! I was actually surprised RCA dropped him. With the success of his first album and 2 singles, I think he deserved one more chance. I hope this song does it for him! ETA: The quality of that snippet from Lyndsey's is bad. Here's the whole song with better quality. Much better than anything that was on his last album. IDK if radio will play it without a label though! youtu.be/zELa7nxPpakOh, you are so right, Mys*&@^#r! The whole song is a different world sound-wise from the snippet.. I hope this goes well for David. I was surprised when he was dropped flat as well. What thrills me is that David is saying HE is excited about music again. I felt him get sucked dry on his second album and boy, he deserves a chance to be heard. Radio? Here we go...never can tell, can you, if they'll pick it up. Fickle business, music. Thanks, Holst, for your response, bb!! I hope his fans buy a ton of this track -- he will need fan support. I like David and want him to get a new label deal. I can't figure out what radio format they were aiming for -- I guess Adult Pop. But I do not think it will get a ton of airplay. |

Off topic for a second..my draft didn't get saved..  I wanted to do this earlier today, but I didn't see any birthday cakes posted yet. Reihmer, you are beyond precious! I want to give this kind, generous man a huge shout-out. Each day he is here volunteering to recognize any Atop member that is having a birthday with cakes of all flavors and styles. When you think of how many members we have, that's a lotta cakes! He never asks for recognition. Silently going about baking up a storm just to make an individual feel special. I adore this man. SO, Reihmer, if you are around, I want to send my appreciation for you being here so consistently. You are a joy!  I look forward to the cakes each day. They are beautiful, Reihmer! Waiting for the recipes. LOL. |

Brooke choreo'd a dance special - there to support her, I guess! Camera never went back to him, but it did go back to Brooke a few times. I think he had on the Miami Beach shirt..?
