On last night's episode of RuPaul's Drag Race, Adam was mentioned. The episode was the highs and lows of the season as RuPaul prepares to crown this year's drag superstar on next week's show. One part of the episode featured "celebs weigh in on the queens". A fabulous photo of Adam was shown (maybe it was one from the GLAAD red carpet event a couple of years ago) and then his tweet to Detox, one of the contestants, was displayed. Detox made it to the final four. This is the tweet: Adam Lambert @adamlambert 5 Feb @theonlydetox "...the new prescription drug for people that are gagging" hahaha Is anyone else watching Drag Race? It is my favorite "reality" show on tv and I anticipate with glee each week's episode. This year has been soooo good. I am torn between Jinkx Monsoon and Alaska to win, although Roxxy Andrews is gorgeous too! I would love to see Adam be a guest judge on the panel. Restless, we are avid Drag Racer's at my home. My husband and I have watched the past 4 seasons. I loved that Adam was mentioned. I wish he would be a judge. I think he would have fun behind the judge's desk and be fun to watch. I am like you, torn between Jinx and Alaska. After last night, I am leaning Alaska. She has the smarts, the people skills and she is hilarious. It's time for a "Royal Couple", she and Sharon Needles would be a hoot. I think all Roxxy has going for her is hair-flipping skills and beauty. Her personality leaves me confused and/or turned off. I can't wait until next MONDAY!!!! |

BMG? Why is she calling RCA/SONY, BMG? I know it is part of their complete title but I never hear people say BMG for the label. Cook was with RCA/SONY and was signed when he won season 7. He was dropped really quickly after his 2nd album and it's single went nowhere. He has been with Simon Fuller's management company XIX, ever since Simon started it. He is still with XIX and I guess they are considered the label releasing it. I like David. He's a good guy! I was actually surprised RCA dropped him. With the success of his first album and 2 singles, I think he deserved one more chance. I hope this song does it for him! ETA: The quality of that snippet from Lyndsey's is bad. Here's the whole song with better quality. Much better than anything that was on his last album. IDK if radio will play it without a label though! youtu.be/zELa7nxPpakOh, you are so right, Mys*&@^#r! The whole song is a different world sound-wise from the snippet.. I hope this goes well for David. I was surprised when he was dropped flat as well. What thrills me is that David is saying HE is excited about music again. I felt him get sucked dry on his second album and boy, he deserves a chance to be heard. Radio?
