No one's here - so I'm going to talk to myself for a while....This is appropriate for May-Lambert day (just about) I went to all three Queenberts in London. On the final night, I slipped back through security to use the theatre-side loos, as those on exit were crowded. I found myself alone with LULU. She was putting her make-up on for the after-party. I plonked myself next to her at the mirrors and we chatted. She was very nice - friendly and real. She was there with others who had appeared on Strictly Come Dancing with her - Anita Dobson (Brian's wife) and Nancy Dell'olio. . . . . . . . . // Adam has a real fan in Lulu. SophieB ...I am here and I'm hearing you girl .... what an amazing encounter !! Thank you for sharing the story - I don't think I would have been able to carry on a "normal" conversation without a few squeels .. you have earned a big thumb up. ![]() |

Listened to Trespassing last night after a long break. Forgot how good Chokehold and Naked Love are  Time has not changed my attitude towards the "oh my" lyric in Take Back though!! Listen to FYE again! You'll be sooooo surprised!! Such a great album and so many aspects we did not not notice at the beginning  I recently listened to only FYE (thank you nationalglampoon, sending me a DVD and CD ), and many of the songs are super great! |

I recently revisited the GNT DVD. What a wonderful theater piece. Very impressive visually and vocally. In years to come, when Adam is a household word (and no one thinks it refers to any other "Adam"), this concert DVD will be a CLASSIC! |

I recently listened to only FYE (thank you nationalglampoon, sending me a DVD and CD ), and many of the songs are super great! I recently revisited the GNT DVD. What a wonderful theater piece. Very impressive visually and vocally. In years to come, when Adam is a household word (and no one thinks it refers to any other "Adam"), this concert DVD will be a CLASSIC! [laughs] The CD from GNT is probably the only CD that never, ever leaves my car. It has permanent residence in my player (along with its frequent companion "Yellow Submarine" which was waaaay before my time, but is also a classic nonetheless!) |
