WOW - this video that Adam retweeted last night has been out two days and has 2.6 million views... It's fun, though!

Late as always but here is my opinion, regarding the favorite album/song from Adam!
Re favorite album:
I love the FYE album and after this long time I still listen to it very often because I think it's so diverse and different from all the other albums I know. It's so unique, I could not compare it to any other album I've ever heard.
And so is in my opinion the second half of the TP album (British version), from Broken English to Map! I also like the first, danceable half of the TP album very much but for me personally the dance songs wore out more quickly and the FYE album and the second half of the TP album are more special and exceptional.
Re favorite songs:
My all-time favorite from Adam will always be Sleepwalker (live)! This song still brings tears to my eyes every time I hear it or watch the video. Other favorites from the FYE album are Voodoo, DTRH and CLYG. I have no "least favorite song" on the FYE album, I always listen to the whole CD.
From the TP album I especially love Chokehold, Underneath, Nirvana and Map. Oh and Broken English, too! I admit that I sometimes skip NCOE and Naked Love!

I don't know how he does this. EVERY CONCERT he has done in Florida I have been out of town. For Miami Pride, I was teaching in Pennsylvania, flew home to Miami and missed seeing him by 10 minutes. Now it's going to be Orlando on the night of my daughter's wedding. Shaking my head. Well, I just have to fly away to Pittsburg and San Diego to see him. Thank goodness I can do that.

FYE was HUGE in NZ, overall Adams has had 6 radio singles in NZ, 4 off FYE and 3 off Trespassing. 3 of FYE went platnum, FYE has consistently been in the Top 200 in Itunes NZ for 4 years running. NZ had FYE, WWFM, Fever, SFW as singles. And BTIKM, NCOE, and Trespassing as singles NCOE peaked #17 on the NZ Top 40 singles, but Trespassing just diddn't connect.

Love the article. Thanks for posting it...join you.. Oh wow! btw to anyone new to the fandom post Idol, Laura Saltman is pretty famous when it comes to Adam. She's the one who asked him about the kissing Brad pictures that came out right before he sang Black or White during the show and who also kidded with Adam after the finale or was it the next morning about being bi-curious. She's taking a big risk with this article because wow does it call Nicki Minaj out as ungracious and especially unprofessional when she's not in front of the cameras. This will generate some other similiar callouts from other media I expect. Could be interesting next week. I'd keep an eye on Nicki's twitter too, I predict some ranting in it's future.

@adamlambert: adamlambert youtu.be/eTKza__tP3w @iamkelis ooooh that groove!
Strong rhythmic baseline and distinguished vocals on top. With Adam's voice always a possibility. I can see where the thinking is going here. Maybe not for the SINGLE, but certainly for some tracks. And Adam will keep his song interesting, something I find this one is lacking a bit. #shortattentionspan. =================
Regarding the Laura Saltzman article: Here we go again, it is all Nicki's fault. Exactly my previous point.
Let's take responsibility away from the producers of this mess and from the executives who put this panel together (btw, against lots of better advice that they decided to ignore). Let's ignore furthermore that the casting was lousy and driven by one agenda only: A female has to win. So on that altar we sacrificed interest, personality, star power, fair judging, curiosity, anticipation, suspense, and for the first 5 weeks of the finals quality singing. Great job there!
On the judging panel there are two that are equally guilty and both are unprofessional. Mariah collects 18mil to smile, throw some shade and string together endless meaningless platitudes of basically nothing and she does not care that with her displeasure that a second diva (or wannabe diva) was put on the show, she is taking the whole show down with it, loses millions of viewers and does a major disservice to the performers. My respect for her has dropped big time.
Randy actually has one of his better years, and Keith is doing fine, even though he is approaching close to 100 % on his number of standing O's. But his comments are fine and being first out of the gate most of the time is not easy. The problem is that the judging usually goes downhill from there.
Sorry, while I do think that a lot of points in the article are valid about Nicki, they certainly do not tell the full story. And Mariah does not deserve the crown of professionalism AT ALL. She was anything but that, imo.

Laura is calling out the producers for casting Nicki in the first place! She is mostly talking about Nicki's professionalism. I mean her most blatant example was showing up late for a live show! Seriously, who does that? And she brings up Mariah, JLo, Steven as examples of good professionalism. I haven't seen Mariah do anything unprofessional on the show. Opinions are opinions. IMO, I think Mariah has plenty of valid things to say in her critiques. Don't know what you are referring to. Yes, she rambles, but in that rambling is a critique. jablea, Nicki is already ranting on twitter as are her Barbz!

TSP was a high quality album with tons of great tracks. I think we are in many ways nitpicking now, because we somehow try to explain chart results in hindsight.
TSP lacked foremost decent single roll-out and promotion.
Having said that, there remains one big elephant in the room and this is the whole question of music taste: As much as I love Adam, the person, and his talent, and will always support what he does, I also know that his musical taste is quite often not aligned with mine. But matters of taste are a difficult thing to grasp or to define and subtle changes can make a big difference.
i.e. I loved OOL - the song, but not the final arrangement, I love the many layers of richness and his ability to play with sound in Adam's music, but sometimes it gets too much....and so on.
In general, I don't think that a disco, funk, dance, pop album has the greatest chances on either radio or the charts, I believe that pop-rock, rock-anthems, electronic pop-rock and a few ballads is the more mass friendly direction. But dance and funk seems to be where Adam's heart is and of course where Nile comes in. Ultimately he needs to make what he loves and how he wants to express himself artistically. But that brings it back to he cannot listen to his fans, because he needs to give us what we did not know we wanted.
Does that fit with what others are sensing or is that just me?

Mariah is not a great judge (understatement of the year) but Nicki seems like Fran Dresser's mean younger sister. She openly mocks Mariah and is nasty to contestants without having a point. No one needs an Idol judge to say Candice needs to loose weight. It is TV and we can see her. Now about the performance??

Way late but asking me to pick between FYE and Trespassing is impossible. For me, Trespassing is IMHO the better album but FYE is more listenable after 100 repeats -- with a few exceptions. A lot of the production choices on both albums are just not to my taste.
I never listen to Loaded Smile -- 100% skipable track because of the awful production choices -- who asked for a homage to Peter Framption? I am also not a fan of the album version of Aftermath.
If I can throw in EPs and DVD - then my list is Acoustic Live, Glamnation Live, Trespassing, FYE, then the remixes.

The stand out for me from FYE was Fever, pretty much from the first snippet listen and my opinion never changed. Also partial to Voodoo.
TSP has to be shady and naked love - the fact that naked love was never released as a single is I think the single biggest blunder of that album's roll out. For me it was and remains the most commercially viable song on the ablum. I know lots loved Cuckoo but never much liked it myself, Tresspassing has always annoyed me. NCOE (eye roll). BTIKM was over produced much in the same way song FYE was (surprise surprise by same person).
Adam appears to be very diverse in his music and while he might personally like some more obscure and electronic influenced sounds I think he also recognizes that if he wants to be mainstream he has to temper that with a bit more populist sounds. Even thought TSP didn't generate the sales that FYE did, I still think it's a superior alblum in just about every way and I listen to the music from it far more often than FYE.
