I know the question about the fave album is hard , but I would like to ask one thing , and I don't know if this has been discussed before , we're all like sisters and brothers here , a Glamily , and we all ADORE Adam ,So there's no hate and no judging , and everybody has a diff opinion , Here's the question : Which are the LEAST favorite songs off both albums ? Here are mine (Plz don't hate me) In FYE : A loaded Smile , Soaked (though I love the live version) In TRSP : Kickin' In (the song is too over-produced and stuffed with voices) , Broken English (Beautiful meaning and lyrics but too over-produced again , especially the bridge when he goes "ahhhhh ahhhh" , It's mean to be a romantic song , so why produce it as a weird dance song ? ) Again , this is my personal opinion and this is a hard question and a hard post for me to write , haha , and it's not that I hate these songs , these are my least faves. Let's see what comes with A3   Hi Kamar! Trespassing wins because voice is front and center, Adam's influence is obvious, and some genius songs. FYI has the sheer quantity and variety, with GNL HeWhoCannot ameding it entirely. Least favorite from FYE: Music Again (hate cheating songs) and Loaded Smile (cannot connect) Least favorite from Trespassing: I try to skip NCOE before it starts -the transition from Shady to that, in shrillness and depth is jarring. And I cannot focus thru the whole say-nothing song. I often stop Broken English right before the bridge (Star Trek vib ruins it). Other songs I find I skip often only because I am not in that mindset while going about my day, specifically Kickin In and Nirvana. LOVE the rest! |

Next week's performers on Idol : Lauren Alaina and Alicia Keys. So if he isn't on the Finale, he is not on at all I wonder how much lead time Adam would get to decide. If the finale ends up to be with Angie and Kree (dread) and Adam was asked to sing a duet...would he? I could see him singing with Candice and Adam is so much fun, I know she'd loosen up. Akin to what 'Slow Ride' did for Allison in terms of her confidence and banging performance cause she had Adam to focus on. (No, I wouldn't think Adam and Candice would do 'Slow Ride'..lol...but Adam would be the one person that could get her to be very interactive and moving on the stage. JMO. Their voices would mesh well. Adam doesn't 'do' duets with just anybody. He's picky that way. Of COURSE, I'd love to hear Shady, but Nile is going on the road with Chic...still would love to hear Adam sing it. How many people are gonna understand the lyrics really? I've got to defend A Loaded Smile. I love the ambivalence about it -- both in the lyrics and the music. I've often wondered if it reflected Adam's relationship with Drake.

Didn't he say in Miami that he's not going because he has nothing to promote? Heh heh. Spamming before work. Well, you know Adam. Nothing is totally definite until the day of something. As discussed earlier, having "nothing to promote" hasn't stopped American Idol performances before. And they always *do* need singers for the finale. So. They usually do duets with about 5 of the contestants, not always the Top 5 though. Idol chooses! I could see him with Angie, Candice, or Devin. |

I agree, Adam likes Angie's voice, but dueting? Honest, I don't expect to see Adam on the Finale, but it was fun to speculate for a second. |

End of June, Orlando shouldn't be too crazy hot yet, (maybe.) yeah.... but Benson is at 4000 feet. If is 100 in Phoenix it is 80 here. Hey I once collapsed from the humidity/heat in New Orleans and it was only 85 that day. Dh and ds didn't even realize I wasn't with them until they were two blocks away! And stand in line for 6 hours? |
