I've got to defend A Loaded Smile. I love the ambivalence about it -- both in the lyrics and the music. I've often wondered if it reflected Adam's relationship with Drake. I've always liked 'A Loaded Smile'...the ambient quality of it. Never wondered if it was related to a specific person or relationships in general. Now Voodoo was very much Drake-like. So sorry to hear that an ex-acquaintance of Sauli sold out. I, too, am surprised this hasn't happened before with Adam or Sauli. |

A Loaded Smile and Soaked are repeats for me on FYE ...imo, there is an introspection in ALSmile and sadness/acceptance for Soaked. Interesting how Adam's music can affect us . It's very diverse . The recorded Aftermath has too much back production that drowns out AL's voice. I enjoy FYE on cd and the video but not live. Loved Voodoo and the stage production was fabulous. TSP...love Shady, Take Back, Runnin' are repeats...NOCE,Naked Love are sometime skips. Broken English and Underneath have that haunting stab in my heart element. Time For Miracles is almost always a repeat, especially the buildup with the guitar...wow, gives me chills !! I'd love to hear the recordings Adam decided against since several bonus tracks are so good. Not on his albums but WLL, all the Queenbert songs...the man and his VOICE are a gift !!! |

All the Top 10 will be on the Finale. If he duets, it could be with whoever Idol decides works best. They usually do duets with about 5 of the contestants, not always the Top 5 though. Idol chooses! I could see him with Angie, Candice, or Devin. Oh boy, if Idol chooses, I don't see Adam going for it, do you? He balked at dueting with the Voice contestant in China until he heard his voice. I think Idol has 'chosen' enough for one year for Adam. #judgingfiasco |

Happy, I think there was a tweet from Drake, back in the day, which quoted a line from the song. I have wondered if this song reflected that relationship too. If you look back to pictures of them together, they were often physically seperated, whereas with Sauli, they were almost always touching. Worst song on FYE: A Loaded Smile. Too strange sounding for me. I also dislike the overproduction in Soaked. I loved Soaked live. Best song: Aftermath (original and acoustic). Worst song on Trespassing: Kickin' In (too many repeating words). Best song: Underneath (although I wish it had been made more simply, like his live performances), Take Back (hands down my FAVORITE) and Broken English. |

Next week's performers on Idol : Lauren Alaina and Alicia Keys. So if he isn't on the Finale, he is not on at all I wonder how much lead time Adam would get to decide. If the finale ends up to be with Angie and Kree (dread) and Adam was asked to sing a duet...would he? I could see him singing with Candace and Adam is so much fun, I know she'd loosen up. Akin to what 'Slow Ride' did for Allison in terms of her confidence and banging performance cause she had Adam to focus on. (No, I wouldn't think Adam and Candace would do 'Slow Ride'..lol...but Adam would be the one person that could get her to be very interactive and moving on the stage. JMO. Their voices would mesh well. Adam doesn't 'do' duets with just anybody. He's picky that way. Of COURSE, I'd love to hear Shady, but Nile is going on the road with Chic...still would love to hear Adam sing it. How many people are gonna understand the lyrics really? He might not want to take the chance. Or he could stay home and ![]() I have not watched Idol at all this year, but would guess he could have fun singing "Are You Gonna Go my Way" with any one of the girls. And it might remind some of "Slow Ride," which would be fun... |

LOL! duchess, THE HEAT??? You live in the desert! Well, on 2nd thought, the humidity does make it worse.... Umm, ya, but once you get to a certain point of "dry heat" it don't matter!! End of June, Orlando shouldn't be too crazy hot yet, (maybe.) End of June not that bad,evenings cool down..lived in South Florida for 17 years.. July,August and September HOT Of course Adam will bring on the real HEAT.. It's all worth it to see Adam. So glad he's doing some U.S. concerts. Still don't think Adam will do Idol. |

End of June, Orlando shouldn't be too crazy hot yet, (maybe.) Hi guys :waves: lol..I took my kids there a few years ago in JUNE ...O.M.G! I thought I was gonna die...it was 98* --- And the humidity was at least 85-90 % it was felt like walking thru jello water or something.. Now I am in Mich.. And it can get pretty humind here too. (because of all the water around us) but being in the park with the heat- humidity- concrete.. Ummm NO After the sun goes down tho I am sure there is a huge difference tho so take that into concideration.. Which I was ..my dd is 18 and could go to park by herself..lol But, I will be moving that week!.. |

If is 100 in Phoenix it is 80 here. Hey I once collapsed from the humidity/heat in New Orleans and it was only 85 that day. Dh and ds didn't even realize I wasn't with them until they were two blocks away! And stand in line for 6 hours? , but of course, your son, being a good son, would arrange for a line-stander to hold a place in the front of the line for you. Royalty always have line-standers! I don't know about Orlando, but DC apparently has quite a few line-standing businesses, and they will hold a place in line for people who aren't even royalty. So you'd think that Orlando would do its best to accommodate a Grandduchess! LOL Or maybe, it being Universal Studios, you could get to the front of the line this way. Hahah  peace&love |
