OT but sort of Adam -- Of the 10 songs on The Voice tonight -- 4 are songs Adam has covered: Stay, Starlight, True Colors and Feeling Good. Plus, Sam Sparro's Black and Gold. Did Adam ever cover True Colors? He did Mad World with Cyndi in NY. I think Allison Irahita sang True Colors on the Season 8 Finale with Cyndi. OOPS! I was just momentarily braindead. It was Mad World! |

I REALLY HOPE IT ISN"T WWFM. was BTIKM a big enough song? I just want a song from TP and not FYI Adam did a medley of Kiss songs on the S8 finale. He sang Beth by himself and then Detroit Rock City with Kiss, both Kiss songs. So it is possible Angie may do something similar. My guess is they will sing WWFM as the duet part. It is still the best know and most successful of Adam's songs. Ok I just off 'chatting' w another fan, she also believes it will be WWFM. So as you noted, he did a medley. then what other songs will they featured from Adam's albums? hopefully, a song from TP. IDK I just want him to hit it out of the ballpark...just nervous now |

 The reason Adam got Angie is probably because they are still trying to get JHud. If she says yes, they will want the two black ladies to sing and so they reserve the Candice slot for her. Given that we could always rule out Kree and Janelle for Adam, there were only Amber and Angie left for him, or the guys. Out of those possible, he got the best choice. I like Angie as song-writer, from what we saw at the beginning of the show, but her voice is nowhere nearly as strong as Candice's. But she sings well enough that their duet will be fine. Adam loves her voice and so I think, all is well. What I don't have a clue, is what they will sing. NCOE (both have very pretty eyes)? It would be an idol repeat, but how many will know that? BTIKM? Cuckoo - sans F***? WWFM? I am really not sure, what he is going to do, but my bet would be WWFM. My prediction is actually that Candice will win, with Angie being the runner-up. We'll see. Not watching the Voice.

SO GREAT that Adam will be on the Idol Finale! I wonder if Michael Orland will work with him and Angie. Adam and Michael have spoken very highly of each other... 
Just checked back and I see that today is the first since April 19 (CMAs) that this thread has exceeded 13 pages. That dry spell makes me appreciate NEWS! |

Ooooohhh... Maybe Adam negotiated this appearance as compensation for not getting the judging gig in the first place. (HBIC says "ok, then I want a performance slot on the finale")

Yay for Adam performing on the Idol finale!! I'm so happy that I'll be able to see him on my TV again! I can't wait to see his outfit and the red carpet photos and interviews and hopefully the footage featuring all the terrific and impressive things he's done since the last time he was on the show.
I was hoping hard that Adam would duet with Candice. That would have been incredible. She's so smart in her vocal choices, and has amazing vocal control and interpretive skills. They could really be creative and soar together, and we might get to hear the improvisational, jazzy side of his voice again if they sang together.
Angie seems like a nice person, but her voice (with the exception of a couple of songs she sang) is not pleasing to my ears, and I don't care for her performing style, and I just generally find her boring. She can also go off key at times, and I hope he won't have to hold back too much or push too hard to sing with her. I don't mean to make her sound bad. I think she's a competent singer; she just doesn't interest me.
I am thrilled that Adam's going to be singing on the show, though, and I'm sure the performance will be awesome no matter what!
And I just watched The Voice, and it was crazy how many songs the contestants sang tonight that are connected in my mind to Adam.

LOL.. there's a conversation on the other site about JLo shaking her rear for few minutes in front of Pitbull and she didn't sing a lot. Some of them were having "nightmares" after that performance. hahaha.. I didn't get night mares but I felt like UGHHH that time and FF as soon as possible |

Not watching the Voice. Janelle is set to sing with The Band Perry. Kree and Adam would not work very well stylistically JMHO. Adam would just scare Amber. Adam and Angie makes the most sense. Using "the best singer (not named Kelly or Carrie) never wins Idol" rule, I think Candice will be #2. Also, Angie has never been in the Bottom 2, but Candice has been in the Bottom 2. Another reason I think Angie will be the winner. |
