sidenote: Frankie Valli to perform with the boys?!!! Isn't he like 110? (I thought he was dead). ??? Not particularly relevant with THAT choice AI. I think the point is to downplay the role of the guys on the finale. Non of the guys is current anyways, so it does not matter, it is just formality. And I doubt that any more modern or important acts would want to be seen or heard with that group anyways. The action is elsewhere and our guy is front and center in it. I agree that a medley would probably be a good solution to the 'what should they sing' - question. Variety is one of Adam's core strengths, so why not play it up, rather than finding one track to carry it all. Adam has best connections and contacts with all the people that can help him come up with such an arrangement. |

A question for the Idol experts: Has any other contestant performed on the show for five years in a row? Or is this another "first" for Adam? Carrie for sure and one season she performed 3 times! |

I completely trust Adam to do the right song and to make this a major win. The question is who gets to pick. When Adam played with KISS did KISS pick all the songs?, did Adam, did the AI producers? I kind of like the medley idea. And to answer another question, according to the timeline posted earlier about the 2009 finale one of the last 2 sings near the front (Kris) and another midling towards the end. They know glamberts will be waiting, Angie so far is the draw too so stands to reason they'll arrange if for nearer the end than the beginning. I am 100% positive Adam picks! |

Despite the fact that the nakedness is largely metaphorical, there's just no way they'd have a 31-year-old man singing a song called Naked Love with a 19-year-old girl! |
