Despite the fact the final two contestants have yet to be determined, producers of the hit singing competition are hoping 19-year-old Miller will be one of the last two standing on the finale stage. And, according to the Hollywood Reporter, she will get the chance to perform with Season 8 standout Lambert during the star-studded conclusion on May 16. Lambert won't be the only one returning to the show. THR also reports that Season 3 finalist Jennifer Hudson and former judge Jennifer Lopez will perform on the finale as well. The two-night show begins on May 16, but Miller, along with Kree Harrison and Candice Glover, will have to duke it out on Wednesday for a spot in the top two.

So - our guy has pretty great gigs on THREE continents this month - with MILLIONS of viewers for each: Asia: Chinese Idol Europe: Life Ball North America: American Idol I'm excited! Can one of the numbers people estimate how many MILLION will see Adam this month?  ETA: So glad to see you here, Kamar. News last night said all of your country was without internet. You probably have a thousand "moms" here who care about you! ![]() |

I listened to BTIKM for the first time in a long time. Then I repeated it 3 more times. I think it would be a great duet for Idol. I can picture Angie starting on the piano and Adam walking in on the first chorus. Then Angie walks over to him. Also, it is a great vocal song. Would showcase both their voices. It is not sexual. And if you really stretch the imagination, with the lyrics, it can even fit Angie's Christian leaning. It got to #17 on HAC so it will be known to some people too. The best part of all is I think the Idol audience will love it and it could stimulate some single & album sales. I absolutely love this idea. I hope you are right! |

Kamar - love your posts. This was my reaction to days post -  I am looking forward to seeing what the costume will be. Wondering if Life Ball will actually provide the costume or whether Adam has the freedom to design his own. Anyway, hope there is some skin showing and I think Melvin would complete the look for the event. |

So happy that Adam had a hand in writing the lyrics for Loves Wins Over Glamour. I love his lyrics which to me give his songs a unique, and maybe a little quirky sound. When I first read the tittle though, I've got to admit I found it very odd indeed.
Myspenser, I would be so thrilled if the duet choice was BTIKM. It is really a good song for showing off vocal prowess, and has a great universal theme. Who hasn't felt that way about someone they love? It should has done so much better IMO. I think RCA might have let it slide because they had hitched their star to Burno's NCOE. Regardless of past history, it deserve a chance to be heard by a large audience.
I think he will be a traditional Ali Baba, shirtless with a bejeweled vest, harem pants, shoes with turned up toes (he has an old pair if boots that might work for that) a turban and sorry to those who dislike it, I think Melvin is a sure bet.

I'm going to make a prediction--I think Adam and Angie will sing a duet of the song she wrote, "You Set Me Free," which she sang in the Hollywood rounds. It's a good song and I think it would sound great as a duet with Adam's soaring voice joining with Angie's.
