Gonna try this..I'm getting angry bears, Atop is loading really slow and double posting. Anyone else? I'll check back later.. ETA: Now this post went right through..WTF? Gonna bring some bear spray with me when I log on from now on in. Sell a lot of it where I live...

Ryan said after Adam's package that "Adam will be on stage for a (killer?) surprise duet next week", so I doubt they'd switch it to a solo performance. Tho in the past haven't they sometimes started off as solos and segue into duets, or the other way around? I expect to see Adam on stage doing a duet with Angie. I am hope they do an Adam song. It will be the first time a non-winning Idol returns to the finale to perform vs. be part of a comedy moment. Solo performances are rare on the finale. And they have two judges doing solo performances already -- Keith and Mariah. OK..burst my bubble..  I'll throw this out. Since the Idol judge's panel is being 'revamped', perhaps Idol would now want to court Adam? A solo slot would help. Look at my tenacity.. ![]() And yes, I think it will be a duet. I'm thrilled Adam is going to be on The Finale..works for me! I also don't have much juice for Adam to be a judge next season. One reason.. A3!! If Adam gets on that sucker, he should be in full-tilt promo mode. If not, it might be a great gig..que sera on that one. Kamar will be totally exhausted from riding all those rollercoasters if we don't at least get a summer single. Loving your daily 'ride's, Kamar! |

I love the Idol bump! I think two things on his package influenced the buying of Trespassing. Of course the showing of the top BB but also the shots of the audience crowds. I think something that I thought would happen this year is beginning. The Herd Mentality. People can be and are influenced by their peers. Especially younger buyers who have not fully developed their tastes or just want to part of the group. Of course after being introduced to Adam how can you not be a fan you say? That is pretty impossible so I agree More TV! I expect that twitter followers will start to grow expeditiously now that it has reached 2M (almost)

My speculation (worthless though it may be):
Jennifer Hudson was said to be unconfirmed to perform on the finale. So maybe she is not and things have to switch around. Or maybe Adam's name was connected to Angie by Idol "insiders" because she was presumed to be in the top 2. Maybe Adam is supposed to sing with one of the finalists, and now that is not Angie. I haven't heard Kree sing, but from what everyone says, Adam would not be a good matchup. Whatever happens, I really looking forward to it. Thurs is a night I will be home next week. YAY!
In other Holst news, I am a busy girl burning my second video project of Adam performances for my brother (who asked for something of his to watch). I already have burned a movie of all the AI solo performances (plus Slow Ride and We Are the Champs). Right now I'm burning pre-Idol performances. I had to settle for less than best quality while burning in order to fit it all on one DVD. Some of the original videos are not great anyway (Upright Cabaret, etc.), so I'm not going to worry about it. I'm having so much fun with this project. It's a great diversion from teaching/stress.
Enough playing around--time to practice for next weekend's concerts. Toodles.

Jessie J. is a current coach on The Voice UK. Wouldn't it be a bit strange for her to appear on Idol, even though it's the US? (I'm watching three Voice series again this year - US, UK, AU. I like the AU best of all.)
