Ryan said after Adam's package that "Adam will be on stage for a (killer?) surprise duet next week", so I doubt they'd switch it to a solo performance. Tho in the past haven't they sometimes started off as solos and segue into duets, or the other way around? I expect to see Adam on stage doing a duet with Angie. I am hope they do an Adam song. It will be the first time a non-winning Idol returns to the finale to perform vs. be part of a comedy moment. Solo performances are rare on the finale. And they have two judges doing solo performances already -- Keith and Mariah. |

I'm wondering if the uptick in his album sales was seriously helped by the mention in the video of it being a Billboard #1. I'll be a lot of people who haven't been tracking him went "Whaaa? How'd I miss that?" I'm so glad he has that bragging right. Exactly what I was thinking! That achievement never really got the publicity it deserved so I'm really glad it was mentioned. I think it had many people thinking "Wow it must be damn good if it was #1!" (Not that everything #1 is good - ![]() ) Well, I think it was good not only people watching the clip could see Trespassing was #1 album, but they could see it was higher than Adele album that week. I have TWO kid's birthday parties this weekend. One tonight and one tomorrow. This means I will miss GLAAD and won't be able to catch up until possibly Sunday night! Thank heaven for Atop and You Tube but it's still going to be tough!

One more and I'll quit spamming. I'm going back to A8 and 'Slow Ride'..by this time Allison had been pummeled by Simon and was really lacking self-confidence. She was on fire dueting with Adam. IF things have changed and now Adam will duet with Candice, I think they could really rock it out. Candice has it in her and Adam has this way of bringing out the best in his duet partners. That confidence could go a long way when Candice starts thinking about the direction of her album. And their voices would be heaven together. Adam likes to shake things up..look at Keisha and Reyna. He accepts all, no matter color etc. IF he is still doing a duet with Angie, it will be fun. Either way it really will be about Adam's graciousness with a duet partner. And all eyes will be on him anyway..lol..at least mine will...  It wouldn't surprise me at all that things shifted when Angie didn't hit the top 2. I can still wish for a solo spot, tho, can't I??? ![]() For all of you loverlies going to GLAAD tonite, ENJOY!!!! Can't wait for recaps!!

Fan videos are not being counted. I think it would be really difficult to count fan videos. So all the live performance videos that fans have taken are not included? Only official audio tracks used in videos count. So fan videos that use official audio can count -- like Harlem Shake videos with the official track count. Live concert videos do not count. Hello!
It's a gorgeous day here in San Francisco; glitter is definitely in the air!
I've been scouting out this HUGE hotel; and they're beginning to set up for the picking up of tickets, etc. near what's called the 'Golden Gate' rooms.
Met up with 'JustKaren' last evening, and she and my DH and I attended a cocktail reception on the 46th floor of the hotel - with a 360 degree view of the city and the bay. Spectacular! No Adam, but lots of interesting people - mostly men!
Just checked the official GLAAD Event site - says there will be 6,303 guests!
Apparently, contestants from RuPaul's Drag Race, including Jinkx Monsoon, 'Top Chefs' Yigit Pura and Ryan Scott, and members of the SF Giants will be among them! The after-party will be DJ'd by MiShA Skye.
Better get out and do more exploring! Should hear from Didilynn and Scorpio soon - - - add them to the list of Atopers who'll try to bring everyone the latest news!
Now, off to follow that glitter trail . . . . . .
