I do think a duet is also a performance - and a worthy one too! Oh...I didn't mean I didn't think performing a duet wasn't great, too. I just meant maybe he could be getting to do a number by himself...I'm a little selfish...I love the spotlight just on Adam.lol Whatever and with whomever he sings is fine with me. I just want to see him perform on my tv!

It's a good rule, get with the times grampa!!! Thanks to this, nonsense songs like Harlem Shake, Gangnam Style and future viral songs will occupy the top of the chart. BUt whatevzzz I need some chocolate Teddy makes a good point here..there isn't going to be a middle-ground in this change IMO. It will either reflect very well on artists or it will be a mockery. I like dark chocolate, please...

The "culture" or reality of the internet is a strange beast. We have almost unlimited access to information. We also have unlimited access to crap, BS, and crazies. ANYONE can post a comment or create a blog. It only requires a computer and internet access. It does NOT require knowledge, common sense, intelligence, character, credibility, credentials, taste, civility or a sound mind. It is amazing how many people become "experts" on the web, just by saying they are. Or, without even claiming it.
I have to keep reminding myself, whenever I read nonsense or hurtful comments about Adam, that if I met these people in person, I would give them no credibility, so I shouldn't online either.
ETA: Adam has repeatedly said how dicey interviews can be. How his words can be twisted, edited, omitted, and made to sound very different from what he said or intended. And Adam is VERY media savvy. The fact that Angie did not mention Adam in the RS article doesn't mean anything, necessarily. She might have raved for 10 minutes about him, but they didn't print that. I'm cutting the girl some slack on this one.

Maybe Adam got a solo spot? Or Angie let the 'secret' out of the bag with her tweet and Idol is playing with us?? I'd go for Adam in the solo spot myself. No offense to Angie. #Cuckoo

Thanks for reminding me and participating in my bad moment, nica! I've been trying to follow that - just that the radio site got to me today. belle .. we've been dealing with that hatred comments in here (US) A LOT, so we've learned to ignore the comments part since 2009 .. LOL.. It's not worth to ruin your day.

Maybe things change now.. not sure if JHud agrees to perform on the Finale, if not maybe Adam will duet with Candice? Though I prefer Adam performs his songs himself... like Shady with Sam and Nile...

Just maybe Adam will be singing with Candace wouldn't that be a worthy matchup?? I think it is probably put Adam and Angie together (both have musical theater background). And I think it will work well. They will probably put Candice with an African American R&B singer. That is what they have done in the past. Here are the ones I could find: Billy Preston with Vonzell Solomon Al Jarreau with Paris Bennett Melinda Doolittle sang "Hold Up the Light" with BeBe and CeCe Winans, with whom she used to sing backup Ruben Studdard with Jordin Sparks Seal with Syesha Mercado Queen Latifah with Lil Rounds (I can't find who dueted with Rubin or Fantasia when they won, if they did duets back then.) There have not been many non-white finalists on Idol so not much history.
