This is what I am particularly mad at: Q: What can Angie spill about her duet with Adam Lambert on the finale? Angie: “That’s the great thing. I’m not going anywhere, I’m still here. I’m going to start rehearsing and practicing for the finale this week. I’m so excited. I don’t know 100% what’s going to be going on yet, I’m so excited to be singing again. I’ll be singing on the Nokia stage, and I really can’t wait.” Not one mention of Adam at all. So glad someone like her is out of the competition. She doesn't even deserve to sing with Adam. I don't hear any other contestants talking about whom they are dueting with. They are very likely not allowed to really talk about it. So, Angie may have been directed by Idol to not talk about whom she was dueting with. On Idol last Thursday Ryan said that Adam was doing a "surprise duet" and did not name with whom. The cat may be out of the bag since there has been some press from other sources about it, but Idol still seems to be wanting to keep things somewhat mysterious. I think it is very unfair to Angie to be judging her because she is not openly gushing about singing with Adam. We do not know what is going on behind the scenes. dancy, I think you're right about the secrecy and the limits on Angie's ability to answer questions. I think we need to cut the girl some slack. Bringing it back to Adam, the video is from the backstage press conference after the Top 2 sang and another of Adam's amazing performances.

Well - let's just hope all those in "that camp" don't go and rip the poor girl a new one. That would be so damn ugly. No one is tweeting to Angie about it. There is sporadic discussion on Twitter and a bit online about Angie "dissing" Adam. But mostly the comments and tweets are about Adam. It is still not confirmed by anyone associated with Idol, Fox or 19E that Adam is dueting with Angie. So I believe she is not supposed to talk about it. Her mom just Tweeted a link to an article based on the THR story and "sources". |

Another interesting article I read this weekend while out of town. A couple of the comments reminded me of Adam's difficulty getting radio air-time. It is written by Terre Roche who was a member of The Roches' in the 80s. Their album had great critical success but no hits. A couple of quotes stuck out. Kinda off topic, but not. Remember Adam's radio hosting in Australia last year? He said something about Raja doing a make-up tutorial on YT, then admitted that perhaps he was not supposed to say anything about it yet. Well, in searching for Adam's Idol feature, the YT of Sutan/Raja doing this came up. It is recent, and I don't remember seeing it posted here. If it has been, my apologies. Here is the Atop posting of Angie's tweet about Adam which was subsequently deleted. Angie Miller @angieai12 3m @adamlambert @americanidol this means the world! Your amazing =)  That tweet is still there -- it was a reply so it only shows if you select ALL tweets on her profile. It was not about the duet, it was a delayed response to Adam's tweet about her.  ETA: But she did tweet it the day after Shirley Halperin's article that Adam would be dueting with Angie on the Finale. |

On Angie : Poor girl I think she has the least arresting vocals of the top three , and if she gets to sing with Adam , she will need more than her high heeled boots to ascend to the medges level of Adam's vocals... I know Adam is very considerate and will try to bring out the best of whoever he is performing with , but its Adam.. and he is like the Sun in a constellation of lesser planets....  |

Angie is a very well trained vocalist and I think she will sound great with Adam.
I seem to be in the minority but she was my favorite of the Top 3.

Angie is a very well trained vocalist and I think she will sound great with Adam. I seem to be in the minority but she was my favorite of the Top 3. I like all three of the top 3, even the top 4. They each seem to have their own specialness. Q3, or anyone else, I'd be interested in know how you compare Angie & Candice's vocals from a technical perspective and why? |
