Could be. Or maybe the answer is just "because." He likes change. Yes, it could be. I guess I was talking about two different things, sorry. One, the nailpolish.. think it was as simple as the event called for a less is more approach. The second was just a general assumption about his daily life as of late. He seems to be doing more charity work, mingling with different artists at various levels and forms, just seeming at ease with himself. That was what I was trying to say, a better acceptance of where he is at is his life, contentment? Does anyone else sense that? Or am I imagining. Yes, I now see two things you were talking about. I most definitely see the growth and maturity of Mr. Lambert. I hope that he is more at ease with himself. That comes to many of us as we age.

Thank you so much for all the info about Stonewall, SophieB and AleksandraKV. I translated Adam's speech for our fans and first I wrote the name of the organization wrong, because I didn't know what was 'Stonewall'. Thanks to your posts I could correct myself and learn more about LGBT community. Just a tiny 'shade of meaning', Shimoli - I don't think Adam was referring so much to the organisation as to the 'Stonewall generation' -(Stonewall was a cafe in Greenwich Village, I think, where it all started) those who 40 years ago were active in fighting to establish the basis for the gay rights movement of today. My thoughts anyway.... (sorry I can't put names in bold) Oh, I see. Thank you for the clarification, SophieB. Yes, Adam was talking about 'fight' and it makes sense to me now.

Just a comment on Stonewall -- Adam's reference is to the generation who lived through the Stonewall Uprising. They starting point for the Gay Rights movement. ETA: I added the bolded part to clarify. The US Gay Rights movement was formed because people fought back at Stonewall. Today, it is preferred to refer to Stonewall as the Stonewall Uprising. President Obama made history earlier this year when he mentioned both the Stonewall uprising and gay and lesbian people being treated "like anyone else under the law" during his second inauguration speech. "We, the people, declare today that the most evident of truths -- that all of us are created equal -- is the star that guides us still; just as it guided our forebears through Seneca Falls, and Selma, and Stonewall...".
> Seneca Falls - The Seneca Falls Convention was an early and influential women's rights convention, the first to be organized by women in the Western world, in Seneca Falls, New York. It spanned two days: 19 July 1848 and 20 July 1848. It is considered the start of the US Women's equal rights movement. > Selma - On March 7, 1965, approximately 600 civil rights marchers departed Selma on U.S. Highway 80, heading east to march to the capital. When they reached the Edmund Pettus Bridge, only six blocks away, where they were met by state troopers and local sheriff's deputies, who attacked them, using tear gas and billy clubs, and drove them back to Selma. Because of the attacks, this became known as "Bloody Sunday." *** Adam and his generation of LBGT have never had to face the prospect of being thrown in jail for being gay, the Stonewall generation did. And it causes a generational divide in the gay "community".

Cool shoes in the above photo! -- not too sure about the light-coloured socks. Hah! You can also see how much his skin has improved. He has been able to afford the best skin care with his new-found wealth. I think this has also led to less make-up and a more natural look.
Happy Mother's Day to all you Moms!
