I've always thought that Adam and Angie would be performing a cover. I think Adam is done with Trespassing and ready to move on....he said he had nothing to promote.

I try not to read things into everything Adam but does this mean he is doing a cover for Idol Finale? And yes, I realize he is literally referring to the photo and hiding under the jacket. Well, there are so many different dance styles, someone may be good in one style but not be able to handle another. Particularly those who learned to dance on the streets, not in a dance studio. They may be incredible at hip-hop, but cannot pick up or execute formal dance steps. Also, someone may present a solo at audition that they have worked on for months, but they cannot quickly learn a new number and a new style, which is necessary for the show. As far as sending potential AI contestants to a vocal coach, no, I don't think they do, but, they go thru about three auditions before they ever see the judges for the official on-screen audition round. Same sort of weeding out process? Something I HAVE noticed on SYTYCD: they have contestants dance different styles throughout the contest, but there are exceptions. No one but a tap dancer ever draws a tap dance routine. No one but a ballet dancer ever draws a real ballet routine. And on Idol, they don't have an Opera week, either. I guess some genres require such specific training and experience that performers cannot cross over and do justice to them. That's because they don't really draw the dances, they are actually assigned. This is per the season 2 winner Benji Schwimmer. In his 5.5 hour coming out interview last May, Benji talked about some of the behind-the-scenes goings on at SYTYCD. I even had the pleasure of dancing with him once at a Swing Dance event in Phoenix when he was 16 - one of THE BEST West Coast Swing dances of my life!!! He is a really nice guy who is polite to everyone, just like Adam. And since I'm tooting my on horn here a bit, I've also had a dance lesson from Pasha, the ballroom dancer on SYTYCD season 3. Pasha has been best friends with my Latin dance instructor since they were teens. Also, this is the best season ever of Dancing With The Stars. All four of the finalist are really good and any one of them could win. ETA - DWTS finalists includes Kellie Pickler, 6th place finalist from Idol season 5. So, who do you think deserves to win and who do think will win? I'm cheering Pickler on for the win although I like them all for different reasons. |

It will be about her so probably one of her songs anyway and if two songs, a cover for the second. However, it is still Adam on the finale - a great honor to be sure and a reminder of what it means to have it all. |

Adam, I'm so glad that you're famous...  I love Adam interviews, concerts, gigs, pics, etc.. Everything about Adam is fascinating and you can learn a lot from him. Adam pronunciation is so clear, I have no trouble with his English. I am using the dictionary because not all English words I understand but I can hear the pronunciation of every word uttered by him very clearly, so it is with his singing. Adam not only improves my mood, opens my mind and makes me happy. But they are things which thanks to him I am continuously learning and discovering .. for example, use the computer, learn to write in English, also have fun ..and more.. It's all a great help to keep my memory in motion. I am very grateful to Adam, and also very grateful to you guys. ![]()

He has his own gorgeous self to promote. And as we saw last week, even a brief video appearance sells more of his music. The Man is kind of hard to resist. |

I don't have a clear favorite for DWTS this year, although I prefer the 3 females to Colby as they are a better technically. And I tend to have a slight preference for Ali & Kellie, mostly because they can dance more sensually than the teenager. |

It is going for sale on iTunes after the show. They want her to perform her version of her song. Usually they sing a song of the Guest star. There are a handful of times they have done a cover. I am guessing WWFM or Mad World. I would LOVE to see something from Trespassing though. As fanoftheman said, Adam always has something to promote... HIMSELF! And as far as I'm concerned, as long as Trespassing is an album that is still for sale, then there is no reason to not promote it! |

Oh I agree that Adam is there to promote himself...I just don't think it will be a Trespassing song. I think he's got something up his sleeve that will showcase Angie and, of course, himself. (I can just vision him telling her: don't worry about not winning - we're gonna blow the roof off this joint!.... It's what I do!") hehe.  |
