I hope for Outlaws of Love.

I feel like this song began the Trespassing era - July 29, 2011 in St. Agathe, when Adam sang honestly, sorrowfully in the early darkness. Then the rain came in torrents, seemingly from nowhere.

It can be a duet; an incredible, heart-stopping, poignant, defiant, courageous duet.

I think, one day this song will be a tender anthem, evoking the civil rights struggle of the beautiful among us. It will become; and it will endure.

If this song were to capture tomorrow, I would find my ecstasy.

Hey all, delurking for a moment.

First, YEAH to all the wonderful things happening in Adam World. The fellow Atop posters sum this up so excellently that I just want to add my Hooray to the mix. This is a big month for Adam and lots of eyeballs get to see him. BIG, BIG win!

In regard to the latest topic of AI tomorrow I have two main thoughts:

Thought #1: his appearance on the show is fantastic. No matter what he duets the mainstream public will get to see him, and that is what is MOST important. I am super happy he was invited to be on the show:-) So to that end anything is good.

Thought #2 (This is coming from my entitled self and want entitlement for Adam's side of things too) so JMHO and a pre-rant if it is a cover or non-Adam song: If the duet is not an Adam song I will be VERY deflated personally for a little bit. Yes, I will be glad he is on... but my entitled and want-promo for Adam's Trespassing self will be very let down - for a moment.

There is no valid reason that Adam shouldn't do one of his songs. And since it is all about my wants in this thought - I want an upbeat Cuckoo or PTL type of song!!! I want to see some crazy, fun train on the show to get some faces to "crack"! Jeeezzz, if Mariah can do a three + minute photo shoot in skimpy clothes and posing (WTF was that - but her body was much slimmer and nicer than I had thought)-((now, if that was Adam posing... all would be right with the world, LOL))...

Anyway, Adam should be able to do an upbeat song from his album. If Adam can do Pop That Lock and Trespassing in Asia, he should be able to do so in the USA in AI. I don't want him to have to stay in the song shadow just because he has some funky, upbeat, fun songs. He can change any objectionable words like he did for the overseas audience.

I want some heart pounding going on by the end of the duet. OK, that is my two cents. Well see tomorrow... LOL Place your bets now...

Oh, one last pondering: Why does Angie get to do TWO songs? Her solo single AND a duet with Adam. What makes her so special. Is it for sure Adam will duet with Angie? Why do we need to tip-toe around here Christian aspect. Please don't misconstrue or jump on me for this comment - that is not a diss to religion, just don't understand why Adam has to bow to her in this regard. Yes, do something not overly OTT or with swearing (for example Shady would probs be out), but don't need to be put the audience to sleep either.

Ok, I am done now, really:-))))))))) Back to lurking...

I said "every one" of Adam's songs would not be appropriate for dueting with Angie and every one wouldn't be. I didn't say "none of" his songs would be. Every single one would not be. Most would be. That's what I meant. I understood what I wrote. heh.
