Hey Atopers... why no more speculation on his latest tweets? Was it Q3? the other day commenting about Adam using the word "cover" in his tweet. And now we get these two #throwback pictures. Doesn't he often put out cryptic messages. Well, it makes me think he is doing a cover and from the past... So I am now not expecting him to have a solo spot, or duet, using his own song... We'll see. Anyone else care to speculate. After all, speculations are us:-) Well he is not doing a duet with Candice unless Idol is playing games -- a local LA TV station has confirmed that JHud is dueting with Candice. Kree will be doing a duet with some country star. Maybe Carrie will be a surprise guest since she is "always" on the Finale. Jessie J. is in LA for 24 hours, Tweeted a photo of her Production Manager, Hairstylist and Make-up artist in a car heading somewhere for something exciting tonight about 1 hour before the soundchecks started for Idol and I think that means that she is singing with Angie who has been tweeting like a happy, happy bird even though the producers cut her solo out. She could also be performing her new single earlier than planned (was to be revealed next Monday) but I think she must be singing something with Angie who is reported to be ready to sign with Universal soon after Idol ends -- and Jessie J. is also on a UMG label. Amber who was #4 is not happy and has no announced duet partner. Janelle #5 will be dueting with The Band Perry. So maybe Adam is doing a duet with Amber!  ** Seriously, I am done speculating and am content to wait a few more hours. ETA: Glad Adam tweeted!! |

If there was any thought that Idol is on it's way out, one would only need to come and read the pages and days of excitement and speculation for tonight!!
Someone was asking about Niles being in LA.I am wondering if he is coming in to work with Adam for a while. Doesn't he have a week or more before the Life Ball event?
Also, in question of Brian May's whereabouts.. he was in New York earlier in the week for auditions.
Adam and Angie. The surprize will be what song. #throwback

Well, I am going to go plant some tomatoes and get my party supplies together for watching AI. Red Carpet starts in 2 hrs 10 mins. I have to stay busy or I will go Cuckoo.

so Adam is definitely singing with Angie...but Angie tweeted something about "we're all gonna die" when we see who she's dueting with. We already had a heads up about Adam - I'm thinkin' Jessie J is going to do more than her new single... God I hope Jessie isn't worked into the Angie/Adam duet!  (I prefer to hold out hope that we'll be thrilled with Adam's camera time like with the EMA's!) |

Or, Jessie J could be doing a medley number with the top 5 girls, like Frankie Valli is doing with the top 5 boys. That would make alot of sense. And would make Angie very happy also. Also, maybe Aretha was supposed to duet with Candice and Jennifer H with Amber. But then when Aretha got ill they switched Jennifer to Candice and thus left Amber unhappy. Surely they found someone for Amber, but she doesn't seem too excited about whatever is happening. And there's no way Amber could be dueting with Jessie J because then Angie would be very unhappy which she does not seem to be. |
