I just figured out
why I am sort of melancholy after hearing what the duet song is... and also
about all these other performers launching or doing their
singles.
I am mourning over
the lack of promo when Trespassing came out - seeing how these other artists are getting such
good promotion. And my hope for a Trespassing song is now squashed. I know it is
water under the bridge now and I can't cry over spilt milk - as the sayings go...
but give me a minute to mourn...
Well, I guess this
will get more sales for David/Sia, good for them. And Yes, Adam will slay as he
always does... Don't jump on my, I am happy he is on AI at all, this is a really
big deal. This is Adam's big night so that is all I will say in this regard. Off
to put on the party hat and watch the thread and twitter for the East Coast
feed. Love reading all your posts:-)

Jennifer Hudson is singing a cover. Was her last album a mega hit? I know her as the weight loss spokesperson and in the past, in Dreamgirls, a actress. I guess I don't listen to her music genre But ADAM's is an INTERNATIONAL artist and yes I know he said, "I haven't nothing to promote". YES HE DOES His OWN F N song! SHow what a great writer he is. I hear other artists who sings their songs, that I know nothing about. I don't care I'm just pissed. You can't change my mind, I'm stubborn but I'll watch anyway Jennifer Hudson's last album is certified gold. I am not trying to change anyone's mind, just IMO there is nothing wrong with performing songs that are "covers". This is a great opportunity for Adam to promote himself. If people like his performance, some of them will check out his music and may buy a concert ticket. |
