I understand people being disappointed about him doing a cover. But his two singles did not really take off, and I don't know why AI would want him to do music that the general public has never heard of. Pretty much people are doing new releases or hits. I think Titanium will be great. YAY for the soaring vocals. I've heard the song on the radio and NEVER thought it was about gun violence. It's about putting up shield (ala "sticks and stones can break my bones, but words will never hurt me"). I didn't really watch much of the video except did see some guns, etc. I"M TOTALLY EXCITED!! I am sure ANYTHING will be great sung by Adam! The point is that people don't know he has his own music... I am so sick of telling people that he actually writes and sings and not "just" a "musical theater singer who does great covers...".... any way, enough, it is what it is, Adam decided it is an appropriate course of action, and life will go on ![]() Nica, I totally get and agree with what you are saying. This is just not the right occasion to trot out an unknown song. His time WILL COME. And I love that he is not sticking with a genre so far. I want to be surprised--again. I think it will be great if A3 has variety so that, again, each of us will have our own list of favorites and not-so-favs. |

Janell's performance with The Band Perry was her best performance all season! I thought it was fabulous! I'm gonna look up The Band Perry - NOT what I was expecting! (I hate country, but that was a really fun song!) That Frankie Vali bit was a trainwreck....a lipsynching chipmunk. Embarrassing! |

Is Niki Minaj (did I spell right?) singing tonight ? Don't remember seeing her name in the spoiler list. She is the only judge not performing as far as we know. Mariah with Randy on bass. Keith is with Kree + I think they are showing his single. And I just realized that Jessie J. could be doing both a duet with Angie and also debuting her single. Nikki said on the pre-show interview that she had rehersal today. Could mean that she is singing, but I hope not. |
