The duet was beautiful! I see no need to complain. Tonight is not about Adam. He made Angie shine and in doing so it shows that he is a classy gentleman as well as a great performer. Anyone watching tonight will be left with a great impression. Hopefully they'll check out what he has been doing. IMO it would have been out of place to talk to him about Trespassing which is not current. Last week they did a great job of highlighting his success. Tonight showed what a wonderful person he is. Such a wise one!! But rudeness is not tolerable. And yes, he is such a gentle giving person. That's why I love him.  |

I have turned AI off but why I found it boring, even thou Adam's song was good, it's all the songs choices as well as the staging. Remember when Adam came on w Kiss, it was wild and fun. Vocals were insane. The song choices for me anyway, are dull. I like excitement. The staging for this finale so far is BORING. oh well

I must say it felt good to turn AI off. I can't listen to anymore of this show. I felt uncomfortable for Adam up there at the end with Ryan promoting JJ and Adam standing up there being sort of an aside at the end of Angie's solo spot with JJ on the show. AI...you have no class....Adam you are ALL CLASS!! Adam sounded absolutely beautiful in the duet. Frankly that's all I care about. Sorry I just had to voice how I felt about the whole thing. I'll be quiet now.  |

Exactly. Trust me, it's better to have Adam thought of as a generous performer than have him be accused of trying to upstage Angie. I remember when Mary J. Blige came on the show to sing "One" with Elliott Yamin in season five. She completely took over--one poster at Television Without Pity said they expected her to pick up Elliott and swing him around her head--and she did not come off as a nice person. Maybe she is a nice person, I don't know, but that night she came across as self-involved and dismissive of the contestant. Also, for those thinking that Ryan should have said something about Trespassing tonight (as well as last week)--well, that just doesn't happen on the finale. Every duet I've ever seen on a finale simply has the contestant begin the song and then bring on the star with only a mention of the star's name. That's just the way it is. |

OK, that did break my heart some. Adam should be the lead diva of EVERY SHOW EVER ON EARTH EVER. He is a true national and global treasure!!!!! He should never ever be an aside. Adam is getting huge positive buzz and support online for his performance and for being so gracious. I have a feeling that this may one time when many non-fans see St. Adam and that is a good thing.

Agree, he left a great impression, and Idol did give Trespassing very nice promo in his WATN package. Still loved the shot of the album and chart with the #1. The duet was short, but it sure was sweet. |

I'm glad that I'm not the only one who is disappointed and annoyed about the way they treated Adam!  And he was soooo good again! It's a shame!  |

I have to confess that a little corner of my heart is sore for Adam but that's on me - I just want him to be first always. But Adam is Adam - a really nice person "who loves to sing" as glampoon says - and he stayed true to himself. Bravo. I do love and respect him as a person.
