Loving the performance even more today and appreciating his extreme professionalism and amazing voice. I whined last night about the song not being long enough, and I still feel it today. I would have loved for him to have a chance at singing the soaring melody. I can hear it in my mind and it is otherworldly. [sigh]
On a stage craft note, did anyone else notice his theater training come into play when he walked to the end of the piano at about :30? He turns in way that I bet most people wouldn't--without putting his back to the audience. I think I would naturally swing around the opposite way.

Da fuck was J-Hud and Candice doing? Looked like the Battle-round on the Voice IMHO,J Hud was a bit disrespectful to Candice.. It was about Candice not JHUD.I think she could have been more gracious, and shared the stage rather than trying to out shine the idol contestant, good example Adam and Angie's duet.. stellar

It reminded me of that spoof diva-off Adam did with the close-up on his uvula. Who was that with? Was that with Sia? I have GOT to tear myself away from Adam/Idol coverage and accomplish something today! (But that review that highlighted his "chivalry," that was sooooo nice to see.)

HOIST - Being a theater "geek" I did notice immediately how he turned - It was definitely stage training - not a natural way most people turn. Good catch - but how could we possibly ever take our eyes off Adam! Fantastic performance and I agree with others - NOT LONG ENOUGH!!
I too have replayed into oblivion and now must do some work - Happy Friday!!

Yep, yes - thank you. (I just googled "uvula" to make sure I had the right word and - good god, do you know that some people PIERCE that? )

"Angie Miller sang David Guetta and Sia's "Titanium" with Lambert, followed by the long-promised duet with Angie's personal hero Jessie J, who was sporting a bald head for cancer awareness, on the song "Domino." The good news: Jessie J invited Angie to the U.K. to perform Angie's forthcoming single in concert. The bad news: They got Adam on stage again and didn't let him talk."
