Yeah, and he managed to seem appreciative of that gift despite the fact that it looked like a big dead chicken. OMG! I thought it was a dead chicken, too!!!

I know we don't know what is Yo u Tub e's way of counting views and I saw several speculations that p laylists on repeat are not counted. Since we are not sure about this - maybe we can try and stream a pl ayl ist? I don't think it will harm .... and we might find out that we can actually help... There are a few of us that are trying this strategy but we need more streamers. Here is one of the lo ops of the A+A Ti tanum duet: www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZeTKWnLmwTg&list=PLGA4B88420sKjV3yxyfI6raajkPsoVwSR&

I think in the past year I've made only one comment on the whole Adam + Idol judge issue, and that was: "I have mixed feelings." One thing that has always confused me a little is how much constructive influence the judges actually have on the contestants' progress. I mean, the judges are not mentors... they're not spending time with the contestants during the week, helping them choose songs, working on arrangements and stage presence, doing vocal classes with them, teaching them choreography. Right? Am I wrong about this? Is there behind-the-scenes stuff going on that we never see? After Adam's season, I pretty much stopped watching Idol, so I'm not really "current" about what goes on every week, but from my murky memories, it seems that all the judges do, week after week, is spend a few seconds giving their opinion about a performance. Like, Adam's comments on the beautiful Chinese girl were kind of typical in terms of what we hear from judges, right? Not more than about 10-15 seconds ---> "It was so angelic... You're so grounded... and your energy and focus... it was beautiful... I loved it!" Or, if you're Randy, it's like "Gurrrrl... you're in it to win it!!" I guess I'm just wondering how much the judges actually help the contestants when they're confined to making a few brief comments just once a week. Has Adam ever been asked the question: "How much did the judges help/guide you during your stint on Idol? How much influence did they have on you, week to week?" I dunno... Adam was already a seasoned consummate professional when he first showed up on the Idol stage, so he doesn't really count! LOL But for some of the other kids who've been "plucked" out of a coffee shop or off the farm, I really wonder if and how the judges brief comments actually help them, as opposed to the mentors/technical people/vocal coaches/choreographers, etc, behind the scenes. I dunno... does any of this make sense? I was just thinking of the difference between the The Voice and Idol... On The Voice, we see the judges working with the contestants as mentors. I kind of wish Idol was like this, too. I think you are right about the judges not being involved with the contestants. For me that is one appeal of The Voice, plus there are not endless weeks of auditions with bad singers. Adam has said that Kara made comments about connecting to the song that helped him a lot. He also said that he took comments to heart and then decided if he would act on them or not. It would be great to see him actually working with people. He seems to be a natural teacher. (Well, natural might be the wrong word because I think he got some of those teaching skills trained into him in theater and by having excellent teachers.) If the judges give good valid critiques with real feedback, they can be judges and mentors at the same time. I think Adam can do this.

What do you mean by "stream a playlist"??? Just run the loop. I had posted the wrong video in the original post it is now corrected there and I fixed the link here too. As Q3 explained earlier, this is VERY unlikely to result in increased view counts. The programers at YouTube are smart enough to be able to detect both YouTube videos on repeat and play lists with multiple occurances of the same video. It is very easy to detect. It is more likely to result in adding to counts if you play the video from different browsers (IE, FireFox, Chrome, Safari) and clear the browser cookies between each play. But even this may be detected if the programmers look at enough parameters. But if you view the video on your cell phone with the phone not connected the the same wifi as you computer, i.e., going through your phone service and not your internet connection, than this should definitely be counted in addition to a play from your PC over the internet. I believe Q3 recommended only playing the video once per hour for it to be counted. So once on your internet & once on your phone service if you have that capability.

www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL8wdt9PU1zxW0Z6fTB1AHa8SV_sszesn2 This is the loop of 40 just press top song and there you have it. Page two of Adamtopia.. works great.. BTW double Yay Adam and Angie now over 301,479 hits.. That is soo GOOD. They are still behind a number of others, but I think this is impressive.. The song was only over two minutes long, IMHO probably cut short for JessieJ and Angie, BTW they have way over a half million hits.. Amazing. I'm so glad Adam was on IDOL ,that man is so perfect for TV.. I mean he totally shines when he is both seen and heard..I can't get that performance out of my mind or heart.. I go to sleep and wake up singing Titanium in my head.
