I find it totally ridiculous that idol grabbed that Angie song and made it part of their studio recording catalog. Legal, sure, but still a mess. Angie gets screwed twice here, not only can it not chart right now, the bigger issue is that the song will disappear when idol gets ready for season 13 and takes the studio catalog from season 12 down, just like they did with any other season. I wish people could still buy the AL studio recordings, but they can't. It's how idol does things, but I think this is the first time that they swiped up an original in the process. I would hope that Angie at least gets songwriting credits for this one and they worked that out, but what about performance rights and broadcast rights and other such questions that normally don't arise for 19 because everything otherwise released is a cover only and not an original? Anybody know? ANGIE IMHO IS BEING F.. she also gave up singing her beautiful song YOu Set Me Free at the final so that JessieJ could sing with her. Then she was told her song would be on ITUNES. IT's her song,doesn't she have the right to sell it??Does 19 now own this song?? No Angie still owns the song. 19 Recordings owns the studio recording that was released that they paid for. Adam came in #2 and all he got was the worse song ever -- NoBo. The only thing that puzzles me is why she did not know it would not chart on iTunes. I also do not understand why the Idol season recording are still hidden. Are the numbers that bad? Finally, she got her dream duet, she is getting signed to a major label contract, she sounded very, very happy in her Fox interview. *** No enough Angie talk and back to Adam. Thanks! |

Pretty sure it is Drake...good for him... Hmmm, it doesn't look like Drake to me. Besides, Drake is an artist and an interior designer, not a dancer. I don't think that's him in the video. I'm positive that's Drake unless he has an identical twin. I doubt he's a professional dancer & he didn't look like one in that video. :D Maybe just a short cameo for a friend? |
