Hard to actually imagine anyone calling Clay a "superstar". I really hope it is JHud, Kelly and Adam because that would be a good panel. Well anyone with Adam is OK with me. You know, I was pretty sure Adam would not get this gig because of "the gay thing." But, if the rumors are true, Idol is deciding between TWO gay guys. Clay or Adam? Adam or Clay? Tough decision...... NOT!Idol, just look at the pics of Adam coming off a 10 hour plane flight in Vienna. Watch him be drop dead charming in the interview after his Idol appearance. Listen to his goal for judging.... it's all about the contestants, which all the media and Idol fans are saying needs to become the focus again to win back an audience. Look at the worldwide press and love for Adam. Clay wasn't on the premiere episode of Chinese Idol. Clay or Adam? Duh! Adam, of course.Someone posted Lyndsey's blog from 2009 the other day that Clay's persona non-grata in the AI production, so I'm not sure why they want to invite him again. Maybe one of this reporter just sneak in his name. If Adam wouldn't get this judge gig, I don't think it's because of "the gay thing". I think it's more about his sales in the US, thanks to US radio. |

In a comment the other day you listed three Fox execs as "good, bad, good." Was he one and if so, which is/was he? He is one of the three Fox execs who were heavily involved with the last couple of Idol judge selections. He is a moron IMHO. He prides himself in being the brains behind -- "provocative and sometimes trashy reality TV shows such as "When Animals Attack," "Joe Millionaire," "The Simple Life" and "Who Wants to Marry a Multimillionaire," " For example... Or his latest show "Someone's Gotta Go" in which real companies that are struggling to stay afloat in this lousy economy agree to let their staffs decide who among them will get pink-slipped to cut costs. Or perhaps this is my fav... Yes, he was referring to Lazaro! He took credit for many of the worst moves in the past 5 Idol seasons. And, yes, he is supposed to be the one who pushed for Mariah and Nicki, and wanted a diva feud. It is good he is gone. I also think it is good for Adam that he is gone. I have seen him in action at Idol tapings. He is a maniacal idiot! In season 11, I was at the taping when they chose the top 10 plus the wildcards. It was Darnell who chose the wild cards, not the judges! He was at their table, during the commercial, banging his hand on their desk. I assumed he won the battle. |
